Great purchase

Worked wonders. Color stayed a few months longer than normal. Loved it. Would definitely purchase in the future for next coloribg. To all you out there who color as much as I do... Do it!!

I got this from Garnier for free to try and i really do like it. I did find that it help keep my colour in a little longer then other products that i have tried. I have recommend this to a few people and they also really notice a difference in keeping the colour longer in their hair, and i would buy this as i liked the results that it had on my hair.

I was chosen to review the new line of colour shield products by Garnier. Unfortunately my package got lost in the mail so the Garnier team as well as the people here at Chickadvisor re-sent my package (thanks guys!)

I first want to mention that I have permed hair and after dying it, I find that the colour usually fades super fast...After using the Colour sealer I noticed my hair colour isn't fading at all. My hair also feels very soft and I don't have to put any other products in my hair like I used to in order to keep my hair soft due to the perm. The product smells clean, not my favourite smelling hair product but not a bad small at all. The texture is sooo nice! I love that it doesn't leave a residue or a filmy feeling when the hair is dried. The only thing I learned from accidentally using too much is that if you do, it almost starts to create a lather when the hair is damp. So when they tell you to only use a quarter sized amount they mean it!
The packaging is okay. It's eye catching and functional, but I am a fan of lids that I am 100% certain won't leak when I travel and this one doesn't have my complete trust.

I have already recommended this product to friends who colour their hair and who can't afford salon/expensive brands! Garnier is a great brand and I am never disappointed when it comes to their hair care and skin care.

i really like the garnier fructis colour shield instant colour sealer! it's got a nice light texture and kind of feels like a serum. besides prolonging the life of my colour, the shield keeps the frizzies down and gives my curls a little extra definition. i'm usually not one for 'extra' products or added steps in my hair routine (the less fuss the better!) but the colour shield, if it continues to prove its effectiveness, will be a nice addition to my colour care arsenal! i'm a fan.

I was quite impressed with the Garnier Fructis Colour Shield Instant Colour Sealer. I got to try it out as part of a package...hair colour, shampoo, conditioner and colour sealer. The products all worked well together as part of the "system" I used the colour sealer after my hair was freshly coloured, after washing hair and also on dry hair. The colour shield was light and easy to use. I found that a little bit goes a long way. I've nerver used a product like this before and I feel that it has indeed, helped my colour to remain fresh looking and shiny. Also, it's very helpful in smoothing frizzy hair.

I received the Garnier Nutrisse in Dark Chocolate along with the Colour Shield Shampoo, Conditioner, and Instant Colour Sealer as part of the Product Review Club.

I've always seen the colour protection products on the shelves and never took any of them seriously. In my mind, if a product was moisturizing it'd probably do the exact same thing. I've tried one or two colour-safe shampoos in the past, but never noticed any difference. HOWEVER, the second time around dying my hair, I used the Colour Shield line every day... And I'm now a firm believer! Two weeks after dying my hair, it's as dark and chocolaty as ever! Normally by now I have some major red (and greys) poking through, but I am still getting comments about how great and rich my hair colour is. People think I dyed it just yesterday!

I also love this product just for its styling uses! I have naturally curly hair, which is definitely prone to frizz. But because my hair is so fine, many antifrizz products just weigh it down. I found the Instant Colour Sealer helped tame frizz while leaving my hair feeling soft and bouncy. I'm hooked! I'd definitely recommend these products to friends, in fact - I already have!

I was picked by the review club to try the Garnier Color Shield Instant Color Sealer. After using the Garnier Nutrisse Cream Hair Color, and the Garnier Color Shield shampoo and conditioner, I wasn't sure that I needed more products for my hair. The haircolor, shampoo and conditioner are fantastic products, but once I tried the instant color sealer I changed my mind! It's a great product, just like the others! My hair has less tangles and seems to hold a curl better. My hair looks and feels healthy. I will most definitely recommend the Garnier Color Sheild Instant Color Sealer. To tell you the truth, I will recommend the whole Fructis line of products.

I've never used a colour sealer before so I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm glad I did because I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the scent and it didn't have a greasy feel. I was a little worried about the product weighing my hair down as I have really thin hair but it was very effective without a heavy feel. I believe used in conjunction with the Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo and Conditioner that this product delivers on its promise to extend your colour. I'm also impressed with the amount of product you receive for the price you pay as the bottle is a good size. I would purchase this product in the future and recommend this to friends. I tried this product through the Review Club. After testing Garnier Nutrisse hair color with my regular shampoo/conditioner, I recolored my hair and this time used Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner, and this color sealer.
I regularly use leave-in conditioners, even in between shampoos so I was excited to try this one, also supposed to protect my color.First, it smells really good, and it's not greasy. I have long and fine hair, so I tried to avoid any products that leave my hair feeling heavy and flat. That was not the case with this, my hair is light, shiny and smells great after using it.
When using it between shampoos, I would put a small quantity in my hands, rub them together and then apply the product through my hair.
As for itseffectiveness on the color-fading protection, I think it does work quite well. The color still fades, but much less quickly, but most of all, your hair keeps that shiny look that you get right after the color much much longer.

Though I've been coloring my hair for years, I've never used this type of product before and likely would not have, had I not received this as part of the Garnier Colour Shield products via the Product Review Club.

What I liked;
- refreshing fragrance
- light texture, did not weigh hair down, easy to rinse off hands
- side benefit of taming my sometimes fly-away hairs!
- no fading of hair colour and it's been over 4 weeks!
