Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water worked well at gently removing my makeup with very little effort on my part. My skin was left feeling fresh and clean.

Although Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water claims to be 'no rinse'. I still ended up having to rinse my face afterwards as I found the formulation to be a bit on the 'soapy' side. After applying this product to a cotton round makeup remover pad and using it, I could clearly see suds left on my face afterwards.

Because of this, I found that without rinsing it off and using a good moisturizer afterwards. I had dry patches on my cheeks. Due to somewhat of a soapy residue left behind on my skin.

I recommend rinsing after using this product and applying a good moisturizer afterwards. Other than the couple of negatives I mentioned. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water worked well at removing makeup without rubbing and left my skin feeling clean. I will buy this product again.

I wondered if water would be as effective as cleansers, soaps, scrubs and even toners for after I exercise. I wear just lipstick. When I first used it, my skin felt like a bit tight like when I apply a toner. I wasn't sure it was cleansing my face fully, so sometimes I would wash my face in the shower as usual, then use it after.
I did get 2 pimples while using it, but they could have come anyway. I think I'll continue to use it on it's own every other day, because I just want my face to be completely cleansed.

Product is gentle and left my skin feeling refreshed and clean. Works well for removing light makeup. I typically wear little to no makeup so this fits the bill for me. I will continue using this product.

I've been using Micellar water to remove my makeup before washing my face for several years. I usually purchased another leading brand, and was curious to see how Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water held up.

I was sent a bottle in exchange for my honest review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club.

The verdict? I was impressed! While not exactly the same, Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water did exactly what it needed to do . . . removed all traces of makeup while being gentle on my skin. It removed mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner, brow pencil, foundation and powders without leaving a trace, or irritating my eyes.

While I would continue to purchase my other brand when it is on special, at less than half the price and 90% of the effectiveness, Garnier's micellar water will be added into my rotation.

This is a product that I might not have tried if not for the Chick Advisor campaign - not one to believe all the hype with a "miracle type" product - How is it possible for a gentle water product to do all it claimed. ??
SO PLEASED to report that it absolutely did all it promised & more - - my skin was so clean, refreshed and moisturized - it removed all my makeup easily - with no real effort and no residue at all - - Loved it very much.. :)

ChickAdvisor presented me with the awesome opportunity to try Garnier's Skinactive Micellar Water. It removed my eye makeup easily without any oily residue and gave my skin a nice little tingle. Although my makeup was removed I still felt the need to wash my face. It's not an outstanding product but it does a descent job. I think I'd use this solely for my eye-make up removal and continue to cleanse my face. It's an okay product. #TryGarnier

I don't even know where to start other than simply saying I AM IN LOVE with this product! If you're like me, you wear ever single make-up product possible because you know... go big or go home. With all that coverage, I need a product I can depend on at the end of the day to wipe my slate (my face) clean for the next day and this product does it's job! It's definitely my go-to after a long day when I guiltily skip my full cleanse (I know SOOO bad) but every girl is guilty of it. I am happy to add this product to my line!

This is a great product, very gentile on the skin. It is great for removing makeup and also helps with acne. I even got my 14 year old using it to remove her makeup and she really likes it as well. She says it removes all of the makeup and does not hurt the eyes when she removes her eye shadow.
It does not leave your face looking and feeling oily like most makeup removers do.

This is definitely a product that I recommend and will purchase in the future. Thank you ChickAdvisor for allowing me to try this wonderful product for free.

One thing I must say is if you plan on ordering this product, I would not recommend you order it in the cold winter months. When my Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water arrived, it was frozen and had leaked a little bit in the box.

I loved the feel of the Micellar water. Even after using a makeup remover cloth from another company and following up with this water, it removed makeup that the cloth had left behind. I did find it a little cold at first but then found it refreshing. I have sensitive skin but had no problems using this. There was no burn on my skin or awkward smell that I have found with other products.

I was really looking forward to trying out micellar water for the first time since I was hearing such great things about it.

Unfortunately I wasn't all too impressed with the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water. It did an OK job with removing my makeup (I tested in on mascara and eyeliner). I feel like I had to use a lot of the water to get the job done, and even then I found that it left behind some of my mascara, which wasn't even waterproof. It suds up slightly when you use a fair amount and left my face feeling like I needed to rinse it off, yet dry at the same time.

This one definitely was not for me in the end which is sad because I really wanted to like it!
