You may be thinking "How does beard oil have a place on CHICK advisor?"

Let me enlighten you! This glorious brand, Gibs, is known for their line of men's products(specifically beard oils.). However what some May not know is that their famous beard oil doubles as a tattoo oil!! They offer their beard/tattoo oil in 3 scents but I find that the "voodo prince" scent is the only one I'd consider to be unisex. The Other 2 are quite manly!!

This oil soaks in to your tattoo quickly and leaves no gross residue behind. It will instantly make your tattoo pop. My husband uses this in his giant beard and it makes it so soft that I actually want to touch it! The smell of Voodoo Prince is by far my favourite!! He also uses it on his tattoo sleeve making the edges instantly more clear and the tattoo more vivid overall. The best part is there is no alcohol in the beard oil. Some cheaper beard oils are known to have alcohol in them which completely defeats the purpose of the beard oil as alcohol will just keep drying out the hair instead of conditioning it like a quality beard oil does. You can also use this on your long hair, it is great for abolishing those pesky split ends! I wouldn't reccomend buying it soley for that purpose ladies, only because it's quite a small bottle, there are many more hair oils available for women in a much more substantial sized bottle. I know as a women with long, thick hair, I'd love this, but would run out in week or 2.

Bottom Line, Gibs is great. I introduce all my bearded AND/OR tattooed friends to this little gem. It can be pricey but if you have a friend in the beauty industry you can get it for much less at Cosmoprof ($10.95 instead of $19.95).
