Got this book in my teens and loved it. If your a teen going through a hard time you will be able to identify with the main character on many different levels. If your a parent of a teen .. get them this book ! It will probably scare them out of ever doing drugs. The book is so accurate its harsh and offers teens some good advice without it being obvious. It's a small book so it's a short read but very worth it

I thought this book was very good considering how it was written. Very true for some people. It makes you feel like your the actual character in the novel.

It's a classic. I think I read it about 25 years ago... and I never forgot it. It doesn't matter if you believe it to be fiction or auto-biographical, it resonates through you and is a wake-up call. Poignant, sad and hopeful. It's amazing how this book is as interesting now as it was then... and in many ways still as relevant.

I read this book as a teenager a very powerful book.I picked it up again a few months ago and re read it.Still very powerful a must read for teenagers going through difficult times.

I read this in junior high and remember being so fascinated by it. I never knew things like this really happened. I think everyone that age should read this book. Very touching story about a young girl. I don't want to spoil it, but a great tween/teen read!

A friend of mine lended that book to me and I really liked it.
It's hard to read and see what drugs can do to a person. It's hard to understand how a person that comes from a nice background and from a good family can go trough all that but I guess it can affect everyone. Even tough it's a teen going trough that I think it can be related to every group of age. It's a good book to read, even for adults. I recommend it to anyone.
