I was looking for a wide tooth comb and decided to pick the Goody Quik Style Comb because it looked to have strong teeth and I was lured in by the promise of drying my hair faster.
The first problem is that you shouldn't brush your hair when it's wet. Your hair is most vulnerable and prone to breakage while wet. Brushing it out with any kind of comb is a bad idea. So even while being careful about it and going slowly from the ends first to the roots, the Goody Quik Style Comb did not deliver on its promise to take moisture away.
The teeth are strong and power through my hair while dry. But I would never buy this product again, nor would I recommend it, since there are cheaper combs out there that do what this comb does.
I've tried both the Quik Style Brush and the Quik Style Comb and I love them both!
This one has a great hook on the handle of the comb which makes it great for hanging in the shower! :)
I used it to brush out my hair while I was still in the shower.
I had never tried actually combing my hair in the shower before but was intrigued by the hook. Glad I tried it!
It has two rows of teeth which help to remove the water as you detangle your hair.
I've tried using it both under running water in the shower (which works great) and then after i'm out of the shower.
I think i'm going to keep it in the shower as a shower staple.
It certainly does a wonder on tangles!
For long, straight hair I can say that this comb is a must :)
