This wireless gaming mouse from GranVela does a lot of things right, but it also comes with a baffling number of useless or even annoying features that honestly hold the mouse back rather than improve it. Despite some quirks, if you want a gaming mouse with comfortable grip, nice LED lights, and adjustable sensitivity, you will find all those here.

This mouse is actually heavier than I expected, but for a gaming mouse I appreciate that. It doesn't feel difficult to use, it's very comfortable to grip, but it also has enough weight that it isn't flying across the computer desk every time I try to move it. It has LED lights that switch slowly between three colours, and it looks really cool in action. You can turn this feature off to save battery.

This mouse comes with two "modes", one for gaming and one for "video control". These two modes each have very different mappings of the mouse buttons, and while the gaming mode is essentially standard and easy to use, the video control mode is downright confusing. It seems to be meant for video and music watching/editing, with the mouse wheel controlling volume and another button being set to minimize all windows, among other changes. But in practice, I found it far more confusing to use even when watching or editing music or videos, as none of the buttons are mapped to what you would naturally expect of them. I turned it off, and found myself enjoying the mouse far more by just never using that mode.

A key feature for a gaming mouse is sensitivity adjustment, which this mouse has at the touch of a button. Sadly there is no visible indicator of what sensitivity setting you are using, so the only way to know is to click the button a few times while moving the mouse. If you never change sensitivity this isn't an issue, but depending on which game I'm playing I will be changing, and having to experiment with this setting every time can be annoying.

The mouse comes with 2 AA batteries, which I really appreciated, but the manual that is included is almost unreadable. The english descriptions are small and very poorly translated, so much so that I had to experiment with every single option this mouse has to figure out what they all do. The micro-USB attachment is quite cool looking with the skull logo on it, but it's also wedged into the mouse so firmly that I have to remove the batteries every time I want to take it out, and even then I worry about breaking it.

    Pros
+ Good fit for a gaming mouse
+ LED lights switch between three colours and can be turned off to save power
+ Comes with 2 AA batteries
+ Easy to adjust sensitivity on the fly
+ Includes buttons for Page Back/Page Forward

    Cons
    - No indicator of what sensitivity setting is at, forcing you to experiment
    - Manual is almost unreadable, does not explain any of the features properly
    - Second mode seems to be mostly useless, and is confusing to use
    - Additional buttons got in my way more than they helped
    - Micro USB is weirdly difficult to remove, almost impossible without also taking out batteries
