We purchased this chair for our 3 year old last fall and fell in love with it right away. Before we purchased this chair we had been using a basic plastic 'strap to the seat' style booster but found she wasn't up high enough to the table and looked uncomfortable. We quickly brought this chair home, set it up and it fit her perfectly. The seat is very adjustable and ergonomically correct bringing her right up to the table to eat. The foot rest makes it easy for her to climb in and out of the chair, and the little arms on the side keep her in place, we don't use the seat belt strap because she likes to get up and down as she pleases on her own. The chair is very sturdy and we don't have any worries about it tipping over, we put felt pads on the bottom so that she is able to push herself back from the table when she needs to get down and it slides nicely on our hardwood floors. We loved this chair so much that we purchased another one for our infant daughter, we haven't set it up yet as she is a bit too small but we can't wait until she can eat with us right at the table. The only complaint we have is with the tray, it doesn't come on and off with ease, its not a big deal for us as the reason we purchased the chairs is to have the kids eating at the table with us at the right height.
