Herbal Essences All That Shine

This product was amazing. I was sceptical about what it would do to my hair and what the 'clear' gloss really meant.

It was easy to use. Basically you mix this up like you would any boxed hair dye and apply it to your hair for 10 minutes. That's it. The box comes with an oversized tube of conditioner that I am still working through.

The gloss comes out slightly tinted but on your hair it is clear once it develops. The results have been fantastic. It has been a week since I used it and I am loving it. My hair is naturally fine and limp and this gloss has added some oomph to it. Not only is my hair super shiny, but it seems thicker, and the texture has improved.

I would recommend this to anyone!!!!

I have long wavy hair that I dye every 4 or 5 months. I was super excited to try this and see how it compares to my regular Aveda spray shine.

The good news is that it did make my hair shinier but I was expecting something more - no one noticed that my hair was shinier than usual. I don't think it's any better than some shine serums on the market, but it's supposed to last for 6 months so maybe I can give my serums a rest. There was more than enough product to coat my hair which is down to the middle of my back. It did smell a bit chemical-y but less so than regular hair dye and the conditioner included is great! For the price I think it's a good buy.

All That Shine can be used on treated hair or on au naturale (except grays) to add a boost of serious shine and softness for up to 6 weeks. I decided to test it out and see if it was worth the hype.

The instructions say to wait until about 3 weeks post salon visit to apply All That Shine if you colour your hair. I visit the salon every 5 weeks (my hair grows like weeds) and they always add a shine treatment so there was no point in experimenting on myself. I decided to test it out on my sister, whose healthy brown locks are 100% natural. She came over for dinner last weekend and I cornered her in the bathroom for a surprise hair treatment. Being the good natured girl she is, she obediently let me wash, slather and blow dry her hair for a good hour. We were both impressed with the results. Her hair is now shinier and softer than ever.

I think this is a great product for someone who colours their hair every 8 weeks or more, or someone who does not colour their hair but would like an extra boost of shine. My sister's hair is thick and healthy and it looks great.
