dries my scalp

While this shampoo/ conditioner smells very good, and mostly leaves my hair feeling soft and light, I find that my scalp gets very dried out after using it.

My washing schedule is on a cycle, so with how often I used it I loved it. I currently use this for coloured hair. I find with how burnt my hair is, it works wonders.

I loved the way this shampoo and conditioner smelt. My hair did feel soft and clean after using it but the quality of it wasn't the best it eventually made my hair look dry after a few uses.

I received samples of these products for reviewing purposes. I hadn't seen these before so it was a treat for me. I liked the way it provides extra moisture to your hair.

Now don't get me wrong - I love Herbal Essence products. They are definitely one of my top brands. The price is always reasonable, the quality is good, and every fragrance I've tried smells wonderful. But this specific 'hydralicious' shampoo and conditioner type did NOT work for my hair. It made it very frizzy and feel very coarse. Whatever is in this formula didn't add up to be a great product for me. Bummer!

You get what you pay for...yes this product does smell really great but in terms of a product that I would use on a daily basis...this would not be the one. Not the best ingredients and I feel that it strips my hair of its natural oils.

The consistency of this shampoo is like glue. It's so thick and gooey. I tried it for about a week. My hair did feel softer, but my scalp started freaking out. The shampoo made my scalp break out! I think it was just way way too oily. I switched to a different shampoo, and my scalp had calmed down by the next day. I would only use this if you have SUPER dry scalp AND hair.

I sometimes buy the herbal essence hydralicious shampoo and conditioner. I'm not jumping up and down with these 2 products but they still are ok for me. I mostly buy them because they do the job and the prices are usually reasonnable.

Good points: smells nice- affordable- also as a nice range of different scents and for different hairs- lathers well and no my scalp isnt hitchy.
