This was not geared towards women, I know. I was looking for a cleanser that would clean all of the makeup off of my face, and this seemed like it might because of the claims for removing 'facial residue.' It did take away some of it, but not all (like mascara) - but it did leave my face feeling clean and not tight. It was gentle enough for my sensitive skin. No breakouts. One small pea sized amount with some water was enough to wash my entire face because it was so viscous. The scent was unisex in nature, though strong - it can linger for a while after being washed off.
One thing to note: Do not rely on the claims of antioxidants from the green tea and exfoliants (glycolic acid). Considering how little time it stays on the face before being washed off, it would not be able to do the things that it claims. Use a separate treatment instead.
(This was purchased at Winners on clearance. It seems to be generally priced high for a drugstore brand ($12.99 for a 177ml bottle), but on par with other specialty products.)
