We recently redid part of our garden outside, and wanted to add some fantasy and whimsicalness to it.
These solar panel charged lights are a great solution to help keep our electric bill down and still have lights outside from dusk to dawn.
The solar panel is what powers these lights – you stick the post in the ground, and there is a 5 foot leeway from the post to where the lights start in case the area you want to light up is not directly in sunlight during the daytime hours.
The panel tilts easily, and also houses the on/off button and the functionality setting button
There are multiple light settings – Flashing and not flashing. I prefer the not flashing setting, as blinking makes my eyes cross. The on button should remain on as long as you want the lights to come on that evening. It is at the bank of the solar panel, and made from a very durable and thick rubber material.
The blossom strings themselves are 16 feet long, so plenty enough to add a border to your garden, deck, or even decorate above your bed on the wall. As long as the solar panel has daylight for at least 5-6 hours, it will work indoors too! Just stick the solar panel in a plant by the window in order to have indoor use!
The blossoms are a nice thick bendable clear rubbery material and are quite lovely. Husband thought they were mushrooms when he looked at them after placement (some of the blooms were facing downwards), but he was okay with them, and surprised when they first came on at dawn and turned off at dusk. He says they are SO much nicer and classier than those Noma lights.
We have had some torrential downpours lately, and they have not affected the quality and functionality of the lights, so they are definitely waterproof!
Overall, I would get another set or two of these without hesitation. The quality, effectiveness, and durability of these lights is amazing!
