As someone who often finds themselves needing to charge multiple smartphones, tablets and other devices with limited space and outlets, I'm always having to use some kind of charging hub to fit everything in and charge it all at once. In the past I'd used splitters that allowed two or three devices to charge at once, but this hub allows five, so I was curious to see how it would hold up.

The nice thing about his charging hub is that it will split the available power evenly across your devices in order to be as efficient as possible. Depending on the USB cable and the device you're using, your charging speed can vary quite a bit, but I found that this hub did a good job of putting out the maximum charge that each device could handle. If you charge five devices at once it will slow them all from charging at max speed, but only slightly.

Another benefit of this hub over some others I've tried is that it can also adjust for various voltages that you might encounter when travelling. Different countries have different standards, and even with an adapter most USB converters can fry if plugged into an outlet that's too strong. The Jackery hub will limit the voltage to a safe level wherever you are, so you don't need to worry about frying your charger...or worse, your phone. It's also small and easy to carry or stuff into a bag, making it a good travel solution.

The one downside for me is the little blue light that tells you when the hub is powered on. It's not that strong, but in the dark and at night I found is distracting and couldn't turn it off, so I moved it to another room. If light doesn't keep you up though then this won't be a problem.
