I am a very fair-skinned redhead and have looked for a subtle self-tanning product for what seems like ages. This is the only product that works for me. Not only does it give a healthy glow but it moisturizes so well. It has never turned me orange. I noticed that some that reviewed this product didn't like the chemical smell. I think that you need to test patch and see how it reacts with your own body chemistry. Whenever I wear it I get a thousand compliments for my "nice perfume". It doesn't smell the same on me as it does from the tube. I think this is the best and easiest self-tan product available.

I love the sun however I don’t love wrinkles...so this moisturizer is great just for that reason. I recommend it to all my friends.

While it does go on smoothly, I found it took a long time to dry and left my skin feeling very oily. I didn't notice a big difference in tone even after an entire tub of application.

The lotion does make your skin get slightly darker. But, if you forget to wash your hands after applying the lotion, your hands appear orange. The tan that i received from this lotion, looked a lot like the tan that I had during the summer --even the tan lines. The smell, also, isn't very pleasant. I would constantly try to mix in a better smelling lotion with this one, but it would not mask the smell. I wouldn't buy this again.

I can't get past the smell-so bad. I can't use it. I have been using Lancome recently it is better.

Okay okay so I am darker to begin with and don't really need this product but a friend of mine asked me to try it with her in the winter months when were we looking less 'sunkissed' and our skin was looking dull. I have to say that color wise, this product works well at making you look sunkissed and not kraft dinner orange. I do have to say that I agree with Artist though, the stuff stinks. You may not notice it when smelling it in the bottle or when you first put it on but I found that after wearing it for a bit, it had a weird smell to it...chemically. It left that scent on clothes and worst on my skin. I hated the smell of the chemicals so much that I told my friend to stop wearing it around me! I am not a big advocate of fake n bake tanning in beds or putting chemicals on your skin to get darker so I don't really know what the alternative is for fairer skinned women in the winter months...vacation south??!?!? Anyway, the product works well to acheive a non-fake looking sunkissed hue BUT the sacrifice is having to deal with the chemical smell. Personally I would just avoid it all together but I guess some people have to do what they have to do.....

I am VERY fair, so finding a self-tanning product that works without leaving me orange or streaky is a serious challenge. I've tired every brand in every price range and have never been as satisfied as I am with Jergens Natural Glow for Fair Skin. It left me looking a little less corpse-esque without any of the usual side effects of self-tanners. I had a natural looking skin hue and really looked better.

Though, like any self-tanning product, it is necessary to constantly reapply, so that is a downfall. But nothing can beat healthy looking skin without the drawbacks of sun damage!

I bought this a year ago because I hate looking pale in the winter. Let me tell you, BIG mistake.
Not only did I find it impossible to put on evenly, even after I had let it dry for ten minutes it still got on my stuff!
Oh, and the best part is is that it turned my skin orange! After using it one time! I looked like a mild version of an oompa loompa - not exactly fun considering I did have to go out in public.

Do you see the photo with all the models? Let me tell you, I highly doubt that they got such a nice, natural glow using this product. I think the only way to get a completely streak-free tan is through the beds and the sun (not that I recommend that at all!) I find that it doesn't last that long on your skin, it does fade within approximately a week. Another thing is the smell. It smells like... chemicals in a self-tanner. And after you have had this product for a while, I found that mine started to change colour (really! the product was tanning itself, lol) If you really want it to last, you have to re-apply it again, and again and again... because if not it will be gone real fast within a few days.

I use the Jergens natural glow facial lotion on my face daily. I love it! It wakes up my skin and doesn't cause breakouts....no perfumey scents and it's very gentle. I have other moisturizers..tons of them...but I always rely on this one and don't think I'll change up my routine. It's especially nice in the fall and winter...when the weather is blah and you're missing the sun. It's not a self tanner so no streaks or blotchiness!
