This product is is fine to use. Don't really recommend it. It's okay if you want something quick and easy to use that doesn't take too much time, then this is the product for you!

Great volume adding shampoo/conditioner

I really liked this combo of products. I have thinner hair so jumped on the opportunity to try a product that might give it some life. I loved the smell! The shampoo lathered really nicely. I also found that the conditioner was easy to work through my hair and removed tangles. This was also true when I got out of the shower and ran a brush through my hair. The brush went through my strands very easily and did not get snagged on any tangles.
The leave in treatment had the same great smell and only needed to be left in 3-5 min, which isn’t too long while in the shower. It rinsed out easily and my hair still felt clean. I did find that my hair had a bit more volume both when curly and when straight. I would definitely recommend this product.

I would buy this product again

I had the chance to try a sample of this product and I gotta tell you I really liked it. This did work well and have my hair more volume but I can't say it lasted 7 days since I would wash my hair again before the 7th day. Smells nice and hair styled well.

I love when my hair feels just washed and blow dried all day

I have especially long straight hair so products can make my hair even heavier or oily looking. This John freida product worked great as I believe the summer blonde this is what hooked me to John freida

Finally something thay works for my hair!

I received a sample and was very happy with the results. I will be buying it for sure. My hair had texture for the first time and it stayed for a long time.

It tells you it will add volume and it did just that.

Love john freida products the volumizing sprays and soaps work very well. I am always more than impressed when purchasing these products. Very great bang for your buck.

I received this product as a sample The sample came with the shampoo, conditioner, and in shower treatment. I was happy to try it. So first off it has a nice light scent nothing over powering the shampoo foams up nicely and seems to clean your hair well, the conditioner feels nice and soft in your hair. The leave in treatment was nice to do while laying in the bath with a face mask on (I don't know who wants to leave it in for 5-10 minutes just standing in the shower without putting your head under the water, seems odd.) This product did not dry out my hair, my hair definitely feels soft and perhaps a bit more voluminous but not enough so that I would go out and purchase all three products. But none the less it was great to try it, perhaps you need to use it for an extended period of time before you see real results, however the sample I received was for a one time use. Worth trying I guess

I received samples of the John Frieda luxurious volume 7-day volume trio (shampoo, conditioner and in-shower treatment) from My Voice in exchange for an honest review. I have very fine, thin hair so I am always on the lookout for volumizing products.

The shampoo had a slight floral scent. The scent did not remain in my hair for long so this may be a good choice for people who are bothered by strong scents. It lathered nicely and rinsed out easily.

The conditioner had the same slight floral scent. It was pretty thick, coated my hair nicely and rinsed out completely.

The in-shower treatment had the same slight floral scent. I used most of the sample in my long hair as per the directions. It seemed to rinse out completely.

After blow drying my hair, I noticed a little more volume than usual (usual would be no volume at all). The volume stayed through the second day. I washed my hair on the third day since it was too oily. Overall I did like the volume that was created by this trio but I could feel the product on my hair. I normally have an oily scalp and I found that my hair was greasier than usual on the second day. This trio may be better suited to someone with dryer and shorter hair. I will not purchase full size.

i received a free sample of John Frieda's 7 day volume In Shower Treatment in the mail. Along with a sample of step 1 shampoo and step 2 conditioner with the In shower treatment being step 3. This product in particular is a thick bluish green treatment that has an appealing smell and feels much like the concentrated conditioners that one would receive in a box of DIY hair colour.

Used in conjunction with the first two steps being the Shampoo and Conditioner, i felt a difference in the texture of my hair immediately after using the shampoo. After i completed the next two steps and stepping out the shower to towel dry my hair, my hair feltl as though it hadn't been washed in a week and was full of dry shampoo. After the three step process I was expecting to have my hair feel soft and silky...

However, with that being said, as i began to blow dry my hair in order to style it for the day I was happy to instantly notice that my hair, which is quite short having been shaved with a 6 step and longer hair of about 3-4 in inches on the top was drying looking and feeling much more thicker and fuller than usual. A pleasant after affect.

My hair actually looked great! I struggle greatly styling my hair because unless I use a magnitude of different products such as, root boost, hair serum, styling gels, sprays, lotions and potions, brushes and back combing it is difficult to keep any hint of volume in my fine, straight hair.

I was very pleased with the product when styling immediately after the first treatment but..I DO have concerns about whether this product will live up to its name. On day two, I showered and wet my hair but did not use anything in it. Upon styling for the day, my hair felt and looked no where near volumized nor did it look as good as it had the day before.

I don't believe this product will have satisfactory results unless the shampoo itself is used daily seeing how this was the product that made me feel the difference in my hair.

Nice Idea, but maybe more like ALL DAY VOLUME..rather than the promise of 7.

This product is good but I wish it was better. The pros is that if you have shorter hair and layers you'll be able to see the volume after a blow out. The cons that I had encountered is that because I have long hair (past shoulders) with few layers the bulk of the volume was near the top of head and framed my face. After giving myself a blow out I would say the style lasted almost 3 days. My only gripe with it is that I do find it to be a little drying on the ends even after conditioning (like the box tells you to) prior to using the treatment.
