So when I started using this I could definitely tell that my hair was a lot shinier. It was also softer and more manageable. But I find that it doesnt really remove the grease from my roots. It seems like I have to use an excessive amount to get my roots clean and fresh. I really like the scent and how it has oils that make your hair shinier. Just wish it did a better job of thoroughly cleaning.

I had a product sample so its hard to give a judgment about how good it is and if it actually strengthens and repairs damaged hair.
I used product combo and I have to say I liked how it felt after use. Easy to apply and wash out. Smell was nice, Im a fan of John Frieda product scents. After blow drying my hair looked smooth and felt silky.

I received a small sample of this in the mail and thought why not give it a shot. I used the John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo 1st and thern the conditioner. I loved the way it cleaned my hair and my hair felt beautiful and soft once it was dryed and styled.

My HUGE complaint about this product is the smell. It gave me an allergic reaction the scent was so strong. I rarely have trouble with allergies or smells but this shampoo / conditioner brought it out. I almost had to leave work I was coughing, sneezing and blowing my nose so much. I had to keep a fan on me to keep the smell away. Defintiely not a scent-free product. Even my co-workers across the room could smell it.

If you have any issues with scented products this is NOT the product for you... which really is to bad because it worked very well on my hair. If they ever release it scent free I would buy it... but until then it's a big fat NO.

I love John Frieda products and he doesn't disappoint with this one, this shampoo Lathers well and cleanses. Paired with Full repair conditioner and my hair looks and feels great. However due to the amount of damage done to my hair it will definately take awhile to see major improvement.

Great shampoo, especially for Winter when I find my hair to be more dry and frizzy. It really helped smooth out my hair and really give it a nice healthy shine. I found my hair wasn't staticky while I was using this shampoo and also felt and looked a lot healthier. Smells great. Leaves my hair feeling really soft, moisturized and nourished especially after using heat styling on it. I am a big fan of John Frieda as I can't go wrong with anything I pick in the line.

I am surprised that the previous review said that this was so drying. I had the opposite experience. I picked up both the shampoo & the conditioner hoping that it would keep my hair healthy. I really liked it for the first few weeks, but not that I am almost done with my bottle, I am not so impressed anymore after using it for a few months.

I have very curly hair (3b)that tends to be dry/frizzy, that is somewhat thick & just big in general. My hair tends to be very dry and fragile, so even though I dont do too much heat style, my hair gets brittle easily and I get a LOT of split ends easily - its just the nature of my hair.

I was hoping this would help keep my hair healthy and protect it from too much damage. I didn't think it would actually 'repair' my hair (and it didn't) but I hoped it could keep the damage to a minimum.

I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle this shampoo is for being so sudsy. Most shampoos dry out my hair in a major way, and so I usually only wash my hair once a week and cowash daily to keep it from being stripper of moisture. It has been really hot here this summer, and I was happy I could wash my hair 2-3 times a week with this and it didn't feel like straw like I would usually experience. I was actually able to detangle my hair with this shampoo, whereas usually shampooing tangles up my hair like mad. I did notice, however, that it doesn't get rid of build up, and so occasionally I would need to do a deep clarify.

I used it with the matching conditioner, but I like the shampoo more then the conditioner. The conditioner isn't heavy enough for my needs, but I imagine someone with oily or fine hair would really like this combo. I have also read that the shampoo and conditioner work best when used together. It made my hair feel softer, and it did not weigh my hair down. However, it is not like a volumizing shampoo, which are usually really drying. I think that is what makes this product so unique. I do like my hair to have a lot of volume, but usually volumizing products dont work well for be because they make my hair frizzy. However, I think my hair could use a little more moisture then this combo provides, but I would try this shampoo again with a heavier conditioner next time.

I am, however, not excited to run out and get a replacement It has not kept my hair any healthier, as far as I can tell, then any other shampoo. My hair still continued to get damaged (although I will admit I am over do for a hair cut) and my hair is looking really frizzy and unruly the last 2 weeks or so, and so I think it is time to switch to something else.

I did notice this worked best on days when I would do a blow out or flat iron -- for some reason this make my hair look so shiny and smooth when I heat styles it, but it didnt do anything like that when I air dried my hair and made it curly... it's kind of strange, but if you are indeed someone who flatirons daily, maybe you would really like this. However, I think what it does is purely cosmetic and temporarily; I dont think it has made my hair any healthier.

However, I might give this shampoo another go -- its was pretty good, better then some other stuff I have tried by a long shot, but it just didnt do enough for me to want to run out and buy more..
