A good spray

I like this spray as it does what it says it lightens your hair i'm a natural blonde but went darker years ago and fancied a change when i was selected to try this product out i thought why not, it is effective in lightening your hair the only downside is that it dries your hair out i would recommend purchasing a good leave in conditioner otherwise you'll end up with damaged hair apart from that i have really enjoyed testing this product out and will look forward to seeing the results after future uses.

it worked well instructions was clear lightened my hair bottle could of done with being a bit bigger but over all a good product would differently use again

Really nice prodcut

Really liked this product, I will definately continue to use as has found its lightened my hair well and is a nice way to get more natural looking highlights as I have 'virgin' hair. I havent givent it 5 stars as didnt find the instructions for use very clear, It didnt really explain how much you should use at a time etc so im not sure ive got the best of our the product.

Easy to use

The John Frieda Lightening Spray is a natural looking way to lighten hair. The smell of the spray is pleasant and the process to lighten hair is very easy to follow. I would recommend this product if you are wanting that sunkissed look.

Smooth shiny hair

I don’t think that this product really made much difference to the lightening of my hair: I maybe need to try it a few more times and see if it makes a difference. It did however make my hair feel lovely after use and also had a wonderful salon fresh smell to it

Convenient topup

I used this product years ago and I can confirm that there has been some major improvements. I found that the smell wasn’t hugely over powering, but a nice and subtle. I have highlighted/ balayage hair and this really helps see you through to the next hair appointment. I loved that it’s not sticky and in such an easy to use spray bottle. No faff.
This is going to be such a staple product in the summer months, but I’m already prepping and naturally lightening my hair with it.

It does the job

Pros: It actually gradually lightness up the hair a few shades and it's not damaging the hair.
Cons: it's a long process so don't expect an instant result. I am not really a fan of how my hair feels after using the products.

Blondier Highlights

As someone who have recently have highlights done, I started using this to keep the colour and brighten my hair, I noticed that I only need a few sprays and spread it a little bit and what a difference it made, it lifted the colour making it more shinier than before. I have only used it twice and already looking forward to using it again. I would recommend to only use it as a top up every couple weeks to get that fresher blond look specially for highlighted hair.

Great for enhancing hair colour

I seem to loose colour in my hair quickly due to washing daily. This spray has helped reignite the colour in between my next highlights sessions. Brings out blind tones without being brassy. Nice for nights out!
