I have heard how great steel cut oats are for you for years. I bought a few cans because I love oatmeal. I hated this oatmeal .The texture of the oats is difficult for me to swallow. I tried cooking it longer, adding brown sugar, milk and fruit like I do with old fashioned oats and still hated. On the plus side I composted the oats so they didn't to to waste. I used the empty can to store pencils and pens in it.
