95% OF CHICKS DIG IT
A long standing national brand that is well loved by many. For me, Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil was unpleasant to use. The oil is very runny, to slippery and does not have a pleasant scent. It did remove most types of makeup but leaves a film of oil in its place. It was very hard to wash off after repeated attempts. There are better products out there to use on babies and adults alike.
Johnson's baby products dry out a child's skin, while they moisturize for a moment the skin quickly becomes dry. It is ineffective. On top of that the company that owns J&J;is horrible, unethical, and does not take care of people, enviroment, or issues.
"Now remember, the FDA does not regulate the cosmetics industry, they are self-regulating."
Ingredients in baby products-"The chemicals in question are 1,4-dioxane, a byproduct of the manufacturing process, and the preservative formaldehyde, which is slowly released by a chemical called Quaternium-15 to kill bacteria. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, 1,4-dioxane and formaldehyde both are probable human carcinogens; formaldehyde also is a skin, eye and respiratory irritant."
I do not purchase nor support Johnsons and Johnsons. And frankly neither should any mother who is concerned with the health of their child.
I absolutely love the J&J;products but i'm very disappointed in their baby oil product! My son has a very sensitive skin and after trying a lot of different creams and moisturizers i decade to give the oil a chance. 3 days after using it his skin was all red! I decided to stop using it and contact the company! They were very nice and send me a replacement coupon!
