I would not buy again

I received this product free at a salon. I used it when I was colouring my hair blonde to help tame any brassiness in my hair. I use it now to brighten my natural grey hair. I think it's effective at brightening my silvers, but I don't like the way this makes my hair feel when I rinse it out. It doesn't feel like it's cleaning my hair very effectively and it almost feels like there is a residue left behind. I have not tried other violet shampoos, so I don't know if this is common to all of them, but I would definitely try another brand in the future. On the plus side, it doesn't have a strong smell and it doesn't irritate my scalp. My husband used it on his tray hair, and it made them look great, but he has a problem shutting his eyes completely and this shampoo was very irritating when it would get in his eyes so he stopped using it.

I may buy this product again

I bought the large bottle of this shampoo. I find it to be an average product. Nothing extra ordinary about it. I may purchase this again in the future.

Not as good as others

Not sure why, but this purple shampoo isn’t working as well as others I’ve tried. It does feel less drying than other brands, but would prefer to use a stronger shampoo less often than this.

Great Product

I have just recently started using this product. I love the way it brightens and whitens my blonde hair. I also have black hair and it does not change the colour of the black at all. It smells great as well. It can be pricey at some stores but its worth it.

I really like this product! The shampoo cleans your hair and obviously does not have sulfate in it which can damage your hair. It smells great and leaves your hair clean and soft.

Works well for taking out the brassiness but is a little harsh on the scalp. The shampoo dried out my hair so I had to condition well but it does the trick for removing brassiness!

I have blonde highlights and this shampoo is great to brighten it up. I use it twice a week and it definitely makes my highlights look refreshed. It also makes my hair super soft. The price is a bit steep but a little goes a long way.

J'adore ce shampoing! Il permet à mes cheveux blonds de ne pas avoir de reflets jaunâtres. Aussi, son parfum est très agréable. Je recommande ce shampoing à toutes les personnes ayant une teinture blonde ou encore des mèches blondes.
Cependant, dans mon cas, je dois absolument le jumeler avec son revitalisant, car sinon mes cheveux sont remplis de nœuds.

I grew up with Joico products and vividly recall my mom always had a purple shampoo of some sort. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner and set forth my own trials!

I adore the shampoo. In order for them to really shine, you need to leave it in your hair for the recommended time. I usually leave the conditioner in longer. My hair feels smooth and soft after. I do my own roots and can definitely say my hair is colour treated with the usual dry and brittle feel a few days after colouring. Using this shampoo and conditioner makes my blonde hair pop and tones down the brass.

It's my forever shampoo!
