The Julep Length Matters does give you very long lashes however it has two problems. The first is that it is very clumpy. I found that using another brush removed the clumps but is an extra step. The second problem, and probably the worst is that it is very flaky. If you touch your lashes after it dries the mascara comes of in clumps and flakes. It also does not give you any volume. I was impressed with how long my lashes were but after just a few hours after wearing it my eyes became irritated by the flakes in my eyes. I would not purchase this again simply for that matter.

I was somewhat skeptical at first when I picked this mascara in my monthly subscription box, because they picture they show online of the before and after wasn't the greatest. They had it super close up so you could see microscopic flakes. I needed a new mascara though, so I picked this one anyways, and I was not disappointed! There is no flaking when I put on a couple of coats of this stuff, no clumping either. You don't get the "spider lashes" that some lengthening mascaras give you. I have naturally somewhat long lashes, so this stuff makes it often look like I have natural-ish looking false lashes on. It's also quite long lasting, but easy to remove with a bit of eye-makeup remover. I adore this stuff!

Great price, easy to apply and remove, does not crumble on your eyelashes throughout the day. I have the so called racoon eyes when I am tired so I really don't my mascara to contribute to that with little black crumbs underneath my eyes. I love the effect it gives, when using it I don't need to use the artificial lashes which is amazing :)
