80% OF CHICKS DIG IT
Just Go with It is another average Adam Sandler movie. Jennifer was great as usual, and the movie did have its funny moments. But, as with any Adam Sandler movie, there were a lot of scenes that were just trying too hard. I recommend watching this once, and I'd probably see it again if it came on TV and I had nothing else to watch.
I've seen this movie, I liked it. I do like both actors as well. Pretty funny and good movie over all.
What do you think, have you seen it?
This movie was cute, I'll give it that. I am a fan of both Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler so I was excited to watch this movie. However, I don't think these two work. The movie was cute, but it was really average. There was nothing special about it and I couldn't even remember what the movie was about or what happened in the movie. I do recommend it if you're just looking for a cute chick flick movie with a happy ending.
Sometimes the critics on Rotten Tomatoes are right. Usually I think they are unhappy curmudgeons (since they seem to hate everything), but every now and then they are bang on. This is one of those cases.
I watched this last over the weekend despite the 18% rating on Rotten Tomatoes because some friends said it was really, really funny. I am not a big Adam Sandler fan but I usually enjoy Jennifer Aniston, particularly in The Switch. Unfortunately there were many things wrong with this movie:
* The love interest, Brooklyn Decker was just awful. It was clearly a case of casting her for her flawless beauty, but the acting was just terrible.
* The jokes weren't funny. I love to laugh and I do pretty easily but I hardly laughed with this. It was just... bad.
* The whole plain jane getting a makeover and becoming beautiful is SO overdone.
* The overall concept of the story was just too far-fetched. The idea that a man would spend that much money and effort trying to impress someone he met (and slept with) on the first date was just over the top. It was implausible.
What was good about it were the performances of the kids. Bailee Madison and Griffin Gluck were fantastic. They stole every scene they were in.
I think this could have been a lot better if it wasn't so far-fetched and all main characters could act.
