My entire family eats this !

So bran is the only cereal that my entire family will eat from my mom dad to my brothers sister nieces all. They like the taste and it's healthy it digest your food ... faster so family fav ... I also did make muffins and used the flakes as a coating to a chicken recipe I made.

This has been my weekday breakfast for a few years now. While I like them, I have noted a few things that bug me: the size of 'jumbo' changed, though they left the packaging and the price the same, clearly giving less for the same $$, and too much of the contents are just crumbs. Though I can use these for stuffing zucchini or tomatoes, or as coating for chicken etc., I'm really just wanting Bran Flakes as cereal so want to get the most out it. Some boxes have way more crumbs than others. Sodium is also a bit higher than necessary.

I think this cereal gets overlooked because it looks boring. However, it is delicious!! Add a banana or 1/2 a cup of blueberries and some milk and its really enjoyable. Its also filling, will definitely take you to lunch time. Its also a great idea in the evening when you really want to nibble at treats.. Have a serving of this and you will feel satisfied and bonus.. GREAT fibre :o)
