We got this one because it's up to 110 lbs, and our dog is 40-45 lbs but is very, very strong (Rotti/Shepherd). Usually she ends up breaking retractable leashes because she's so strong, but she hasn't broken this one yet. My biggest complaint about this product is the placement of the button the on handle to stop and/or lock the leash in place. I have fairly average sized hands for a woman, if not on the slightly bigger side, and yet my thumb barely touches the button. It's not the most comfortable fit when I'm walking her to try and press the button while holding the leash as I would normally. I couldn't imagine someone with small hands being about to use this product to the fullest extent.
