L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara

This is a really great lenghtening mascara. As with any mascara, it is difficult to guage just how much it “extends” your lashes. I would hesitate to say they were doublly as long as usual, but they were certainly noticably longer. Lets put it this way, I wear glasses and my lashes don’t usually touch them, but with this mascara the tips definitely brush up against the lenses. I, like others have mentioned, was hesitant to try a primer mascara duo thinking that it would be too fiddly and time consuming, however it is no more time consuming than putting on two coats of mascara.

Like others have mentioned washing it off is amazingly easy – you simply wet your lashes and smooth them off. Misschickie is right, it looks as though your lashes are coming off, but that is simply the tubes slipping off your lashes. No raccoon eyes or mascara residue after you cleanse!

I tend to shy away from lengthening mascaras because I prefer the drama that volumizing formulas add, but this mascara did not disappoint me in the drama department. On its own it is beautiful and in fact, when coupled with a coat of my go-to Cover Girl Last Blast or Maybelline Colossal over top, it looked a lot like falsies. My lashes were ridiculously long, very black and nice and plump, just like I like them. And since I had the tubes on as a base, washing it all off was a snap.

I did not experience any of the clumping that some others complained of, however my one warning would be to not skip the mascara. It is temping to use the primer as a base to your regular mascara but this simply does not work as well, trust me. If you want to apply another (perhaps thickening) mascara on top as I did, use the Beauty Tubes primer, then a quick sweep of their mascara (to cover all the white) and then use your regular mascara – it is definitely worth it!

I have been using this mascara for quite some time now... I don't always use the white end of the mascara as it seems like there is just so much stuff on my lashes, I always end up using the black end only. This mascara actually does what it says! it totally creates a tube around the lashes you have... when you wash it off little tubes come off. I was caught off guard by that. It is an amazing product, not as good if you try to reapply later on. I like the quality of the mascara, it does it's job and I don't ever have to deal with goopy application. I will definitely buy this product again.

This mascara does what it claims-- It extends! So for those of you with short lashes, it is a really great product to try out! However, if you have even remotely medium-long lashes--Stay away! This mascara also separates the lashes, so if you have long lashes, your lashes will look a little bit like Spider legs. Unless that's the effect you want to go for, perhaps you should skip this product for a day-to-day use.

HANDS DOWN THIS IS THE BEST MASCARA on the market!! I love this! I wear contacts and always find that if you're out swimming, or tearing up at a wedding, or getting dry-eyes working in the office, that there is a noticable sting when I wear mascara. I have thin lashes, but they are long. I've been looking for the perfect mascara forever. I want my lashes to look natural; I hate stiff, clupmy lashes, but I want them to be noticed. When I use this stuff, I get excellent definition and a lots of extention- the combo rocks the look. I've had more people tell me how long my lashes look since I've been wearing this. There is no 5 o'clock smudge, there is no streaking and no flaking. I've used a lot of different kinds- I don't usually buy the same mascara twice, because there is always something better on the market. But this one I've bought again and again and again.

I love this mascara! When I used it the first time my lashes weren't as thick as I would like but they were very very long! After about a week of use, the mascara made my lashes much thicker. My favourite part about this mascara is definatly the ease of taking it off. It will stay put and not smudge until you run hot water on it and it comes off so easily! I will definatly continue buying this and reccomend it to my friends.

Okay I do like this product but not enough to buy it again so that says alot.
You see a slight difference when using it, Like it doesn't really make your lashes long and i see no lenght
The wite part when you use it still shows up even after you put on the black soo i wouldn't recomend it.

All in all, an awesome product. Really -does- extend lashes, even the shortest ones. The two step process is a little bit of a pain, but my eyelashes always feel softer after using this mascara vs. others. It's easy to wash off, and when you look at the cloth/cotton pad/whatever you use to take your make-up off, you can definitely see little strings of black...indicating that there really ARE little tubes on the end of your lashes. Probably one of the best mascaras I've ever had.

Well, I've been wanting to try the "tube" mascara for a while...so I finally went and got Beauty Tubes. It's a bit pricier than other drugstore mascara brands, but not by much. What I love about this mascara is that it will not smudge or flake off during the day and is a snap to remove in the shower! I love seeing the little tubes wash off in warm water. It comes with a white primer side which really lengthens your lashes and a black side that creates the tubes. When I'm in a rush, I just use the black side. And sometimes I use the white primer to add length and finish with a volumizing mascara, like Covergirl Lash Blast. The trick is to apply the black mascara immediately after you apply the primer--don't wait for it to dry, or it will clump. Overall, this mascara adds amazing length (but not much volume) and would be great for an everyday, natural look. Definitely worth a try.

This makes my lashes so long and really opens up my eyes. It comes off very easy when washing your face.

When I saw the commercial I actually went straight to the store (Target) to see what these 'Beauty Tubes' were all about...

The white applicator is to prime your lashes, coating them with a layer that gives your lashes extensions.
The black applicator is to set them and add color. I chose Very Black. after applying the Black your lashes look amazing!

My lashes looked wonderful and much longer, they held their volume and curl all day, no smudges or irritation.

clean up is a breeze. No messy remover or overdrying under your eyes from rubbibg. You can simply wash the extensions away in the shower with warm water or when doin your nightly face routine before bed. it may look like your actual lashes are coming out, but no worries its just the 'beauty tubes'
