Even though I've been much more careful about using sunscreen in my 30s than I was in my 20s, I have started to see some noticeable discoloration and sun spots on my face. Naturally, when I received this product from the brand to test, I was very excited to try it.

It is designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and even skin tone due to the exfoliating properties of the ingredients. Although the packaging mentions that redness and flaking is normal and temporary, I didn't experience either. It glides on with just a slight tingle and soaks in very quickly. In fact, you need to spread it quickly or the pea-sized amount will not cover your face.

I definitely noticed an improvement in some of my fine lines and my pores have been clearer. I don't know if there's been tons of improvement on my discoloration, but I've only been using it for about 1 month and assume it will take a little longer to see those changes more plainly. For a few days I forgot to use the cream and I noticed some of my fine lines becoming more noticeable again. While I may have foolishly hoped that they might be actually disappearing, it made me all the more aware of how well the cream helps *when used regularly*.

This is a costly beauty product (around $55) but a little goes a long way. I've heard some nasty stories of prescription-strength retinol creams and am very happy with the gentle nature of this serum for that reason alone.

I recommend this product, despite the high price. If your fine lines are non-existent or extremely faint, you may not get as much benefit out of this, but for me (mid-30s) it was a perfect fit.
