I won this product in the chick advisor birthday giveaway, and to be honest I was a bit skeptical of it at first. I have tried oscillating mascara before and was not really into the results.
The first time I used this, I didn't read the instructions (how hard can a mascara primer be? apply before mascara) well, with this product you aren't supposed to let it dry before you put your mascara on ... I did not do that and got a clumpy, flaky, black, mess. The second time I tried it (after reading the instructions) I was very pleased with the results. My lashes were far longer and fuller looking than with my mascara alone, and I can't be exactly certain, but I do think they have gotten longer. My lashes on my left side are a bit shorter than my right, but now it seems like they have grown.
As for the oscillation, I am not sure if it is really necessary for the product, as I think it would work just as well without it, but it does make it extra easy to get the product down to the root.
I'm not sure if this is a product I will continue to purchase for myself, based on the price but I would recommend trying it.
Vibrating beauty gadgets are the latest thing! I really like this lash enhancing mascara primer from Lancome. It helps repair damaged lashes. The vibrations help get it in at the base easily but doesn't really help with the clumping. But otherwise, I have noticed my lashes are significantly fuller and longer and that says a lot for my short lashes! I do notice that with some mascaras particularly volumizing there is a bit of clumping but my lashes are twice the thickness so I can live with that. And if you're mascara has a wet feel to it, the primer might make it feel a bit "sticky". Overall, my lashes are really happy!
