I feel like I should start out by saying that I LOVE the idea of a cleansing face oil. I have very dry skin and appreciate any chance I have to add some extra moisture into my routine. Having said that, I was very excited to try this product and hoped that it would leave my face feeling less tight and dried out than other cleansers that I've tried. While I did feel that my skin was soft and comfortable after using this product, I was disappointed with the fact that it didn't take off my mascara. This meant that I had to add in an extra step of using an eye makeup remover which, compared to my usual routine, is more time-consuming. For that reason, I will be sticking to my Bioderma micellar water which leaves my face feeling hydrated and actually removes all of my makeup quickly and gently.

Personally, I did not like the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil-which I received for free from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. I had a major blemish breakout after the first application. I tried it a few more times and the breakout increased. I asked my friend to try it to see if the same happened with her. However, it was the opposite for her. Her skin softened and became brighter.

Though I would never try this product again (unless for some reason my skin becomes extremely dried out), my friend is very happy with it and plans to purchase it in the future.

I found this too oily for me so I couldn't really keep using it I have normal to dry skin but its sensitive and this just left my face oily.

I was disappointed to find that this cleansing oil left my skin dry after using, as it is an oil, and other cleansing oils i've tried in the past did not leave my skin feeling dry like this one did.
i think it did an ok job at removing my makeup.

I didn't notice a difference in my skin, I didn't like how the bottle was given, as it leaked into the box it leaks also easily when pouring it into your hand and leaves a mess everywhere, there should be a pump. I found the night oil was better.

The first thing I noticed about this product is the smell is very strong it smells like eucalyptus. After following the instructions I found my face was very oily
I have been using it every morning hoping something different will change or I would notice a difference in softness.

Did not see the benefit in using this face oil to wash my fave versus using any other face wash. By washing it off with water it seemed to dry my face out like any other face wash.

I was able to try this product for free thanks to Chick Advisor. Sadly, after using the lipidol cleaning face oil and the lipidol overnight face oil I broke out in a rash on my jaw and chin area. Not exactly sure which product caused it but I stopped using them both.

I'm not a fan of this product. The main ingredients are mineral oils and derivatives of mineral oil. I know mineral oil is "safe" and used in MANY cosmetic products but I personally try and buy high quality products with high quality ingredients. This Cleansing Oil is not one of them. That said, it does it's job and is cost effective. I will use my product for very stubborn waterproof makeup, body paint removal, etc. But I will be washing off the Cleansing Oil, and all traces of mineral oil, with a facial cleanser after I use it. I also don't like the feeling it leaves behind. Although it isn't greasy, it feels like it is slick, if that makes sense, and I don't like that feeling. I also don't care for the highly processed, somewhat floral, scent. If you like cleansing oils, looking for a cheap one, aren't bothered by mineral oil, and want a product that will remove ALL of your makeup, then yes, grab this one! This product just isn't for me.

I didn't find that the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil worked very well. It would leave smears of mascara on my face. I quickly found that I needed to add more oil and really work at removing the black marks under my eyes.
