I have two dwarf hamsters. They have three wheels, a saucer and several running balls. I have been on the lookout for a different kind of saucer since the plastic one doesn't spin well and they have a hard time working it. I found this wooden "Living World Green" saucer at Critter Jungle. It is expensive $29.99, but worth the money. I just put it in the cage yesterday and there will be a learning curve, but already I can see that it spins very easily. It's really cute to watch them jump on and run a few steps, then just sit and spin. At first I thought maybe they would get dizzy or be scared, but they keep going back and really seem to be having fun with it. I also really like the natural wood look of it. Sadly, they have discontinued this line of products. There are still some out there in stores, so if you see one I highly recommend grabbing it.
