It is super thick; however, it goes on super smooth and absorbs into the skin super fast. I have sensitive skin too and my skin loves that it's gentle, yet effective. The scent is very nice too (natural shea butter scent). My face stays moist and soft the whole day.

This is a great product for dry to very dry skin, especially in cold climates. I found it really nourishes my skin leaving it smooth, comfortable and no more feeling of tightness. The cream absorbs quickly without that greasy feel. It lasts a good 24 hours for hydrating my skin. Great for those cold windy days which seam to dry any exposed skin. It worked marvellously.
