Logitech VX Revolution Mouse

Since I am a computer geek I also post gadget reviews! :) This is first mouse that I've ever bought and I am in love with it. Who knew a few more buttons will make web surfing so easy? There are so many features of this mouse that I use.

(1) You can switch modes on the scroll wheel to the usual "ball scroll" feel, or a smooth scroll that is very useful for scanning really long documents.
(2) There is a "touch to search" button that enables you to highlight phrases on a web page and lookup a search engine of your choice..
(3) There is a zoom button for easy image previews (or use with Adobe Acrobat).
(4) There are thumb buttons for easy tab switching or page navigation. No need to navigate to the "Back" or "Forward" buttons on your browser ever again.
(5) You can download software and program the mouse to do virtually anything you want! on a per application basis, as well as global settings. I recommend Steermouse if you're on a Mac.
(6) The battery life is amazing. I've used this for months already and there is still more than 50% in the battery. It uses one AA battery.

If you're looking for an excellent mouse I recommend picking this up for sure!
