We picked up the Logitech Wireless Combo key board and mouse at Costco last month and I love it. I was forever getting my mouse cord stuck on something and had to stop what I was doing just to fine out what had grabbed my mouse by the tail. The letters on the key board that came with our computer, that we had only bought less then two years ago were wearing off, witch shouldn’t have happened in such a short time. So when we saw this wireless set at Costco and for such a good price we grabbed it up. Another thing that’s nice about the two being wireless is that I can sit, or stand pretty much where ever I want to. That is as long as I can still see the monitor and I’m no farther away from the tower then 10 meters. This is because of its advanced 2.4 GHz connectivity. I have a bad back and neck and sometimes I can’t sit or stand for more then an hour, sometimes its even less. We all know how fast an hour can go by when you’re busy on your computer, so being able to move around is a big plus for me and would be for anyone else that has a hard time like me. Now I can move into a more comfortable position with out having to stop what I’m doing and go back to it later on. The key board and mouse also came with batteries. The batteries for the mouse will last up to five months and they say the key boards batteries can last as much as 24 months. The key board also has what they call eight hot keys. These bring the things you do most right to your finger tip such as your email, the volume for your speakers. I really like the play and pause keys. Having them right at your finger tips you won’t miss a bit of that You Tube video when the kids walk in the room asking for something, or your boss walks into the room.LOL I was even able to set it up myself and I know hardly anything about computers. All you have to do is plug the wireless receiver into a USB port and start using your key board and mouse. There’s no software to be bothered with at all. The Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 has a 128-bit AES encryption that helps to protect your information by encrypting data transfer between the keyboard and receiver with one of the highest levels of data encryption available so you can feel safer. The optical mouse is very comfortable in your hand because it has finger groves that help your hand stay in place and it slides easily across your mouse pad. One of the biggest plus’s for me is that the key board is spill proof! If you have kids then you know how accidents can happen with there drinks and I know I’ve had a few close calls myself over the years as well. If you do happen to spill something on this key board all you have to do is drain the board out and let it dry. The keys are also UV coated so they shouldn’t fade on you. You can use this set with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Linux Kemel 2.6 or later USB port. It comes with a three year limited hardware warranty, so you know you’re cover for quit awhile. I’d definitely recommend the Logitech Wireless Combo key board and Mouse MK260 to anyone that looking for a new set. We love it and I’m sure you will to.
