The scent of this product reminds me of my grandmother's cologne and persisted throughout the entire day and night until my next shower, and although I love my grandmother, I do not want to smell like her. As for its effectiveness, I didn't notice any real difference, but my hair isn't especially damaged to begin with.

I would say this is an okay product for the price,I did expect a little more from it because of all the hype. I will say it did leave my hair soft and I do quite enjoy the smell..this is nothing special and left my hair a little heavy and flat.
