I find a lot of hair colors that say 100% grey coverage don't really cover . The sublime Mousse was awesome in that it did cover 100 % of the grey, but the color really lasts.
I have to say, I was rather excited to try the new L'Oreal Sublime Mousse. I had never tried a mousse or foam colour before, so I found this a great chance!
First of all, the packaging caught my attention (I'm a sucker for appearance). There didn't seem to be a whole lot of shades to choose from, I'm not sure if it's because of product availability or perhaps the store I went to just didn't have great stock. Anywho...
Mixing the solution was rather painless - I've made my share of messes with dye's before, eek! The smell is something to be desired. It still has the same old "hold your breath" fumes as most dyes typically do. I was impressed with the consistency - it actually felt like mousse! The product applied very easily with no mess, however, for a person with small hands, the pump applicator sucks once your hands have the mousse on them. I had to sit it on the table to pump it as it kept slipping from my hands.
When I began, I had 2 tone hair (don't ask!) so I was extremely impressed to see that for the first time in months I finally had one solid colour of hair with nice highlights! The product has amazing coverage and a gorgeous finished look! And of course, the conditioner that comes with it is fantastic.
It has been 2 weeks since my hair was done and it's still smooth, shiny, and NOT dead - now that alone is worth everything to me!
Overall - The product is great and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. The applicator itself I could do without, but perhaps I just need to grow bigger hands :0)
