I should have listened to Auxesia's review. The longer my hair gets, the wavier it is, so I thought I'd try this conditioner, despite Auxesia's warning. Surely it doesn't smell "like burning". Not when you can smell the coconut scent right from the bottle.
In the end, my hair at least didn't smell of burning once dry, and my hair felt nice, but it's still pretty wavy if you ask me. I also have thick hair, but thankfully, this didn't make my hair feel greasy! I will not be buying this in the future.
I couldn't even dream of using this as a leave-in conditioner! PASS!
I was not impressed with this conditioner at all, which was a shame as I'm definitely a fan of Lush. The bottle claims that it's for "dry, damaged or curly hair". I have dry and wavy hair and I found this conditioner did very little for either of those issues. It's VERY light ... almost ... well ... just tooooo liquidy. When I was using it in the shower I just felt like I wasn't using enough of it. I also tried using it as a leave in conditioner (the sales clerk suggested using it as a leave in). That didn't seem to do much either. In fact it just made my hair feel greasy. I should probably add that in addition to my hair being wavy and can be dry at times, it's also thick. MAYBE this conditioner is just not suited for my type of hair? I just find it hard to believe that it can be so ineffective.
I'm also not a fan of the smell (that's an understatement ... I really really really dislike the smell). I've used some of their coconut scented products before and they were great! Coolaulin ... well ... I find it hard to explain it as anything other then a burning smell. It's not very pleasant at all.
I'm doing whatever I can to finish this bottle and not have to deal with it anymore but it's just so hard lol. I don't want to just throw it out and I can't use to much of it at a time because ... well I find the smell lingers.
Overall I just didn't like it and I would never buy it again.
