I was a little hesitant about purchasing this product, but im so happy i did! A little bit really did go a long way and it worked wonders. Helped me keep my face clear as well as clear up any blackheads. Only thing i will complain about is that they give you so much product that youre most likely not gona use all of it by the time it expires

Best Acne Cleanser

I heard many good and bad things about this product. It does help clear my skin of any acne, and it is actually gentle on the skin. The one problem I do have with it is, you have to wash it off right away, don't let dry. Tiny bit is all you need, it works and I do recommend.

J’aime bien cet exfoliant. Il est relativement doux et j’ai vu une différence sur la texture de ma peau et mes pores mais il laisse des résidus noirs sur ma peau. Je dois le rincer abondamment pour m’assurer de ne plus rien avoir sur ma peau.

Leaves my skin stained black

This is a great exfoliator. My skins is super smooth since starting to use it. However, it leaves a black residue on my face that I can't rinse off. I have to rewash my face to remove it. I would try another container just to see if maybe I got a dud, but if the next one is the same, I won't repurchase.

Used to incorporate this in my nighttime routine

Although this cleanser does give you nice results, I can't stand the grey/black residue on my skin. I have an oily t-zone but this cleanser leaves a nice refreshed and clean feeling. I don't think I would repurchase as I currently use the Lush Herbalism cleanser but l like how their products are made with natural ingredients.

I had heard rave reviews about this product and I had to try it myself. Firstly, it took a very long time for me to get used to the smell. Second, my skin loved this! I didn't get too many break outs after I used this and I was very happy. The price is just a little much

I really wanted to like this product. At first, I did. I love the charcoal and black sugar combination - it makes a really nice paste that feels so good on your face. I don't even mind the smell. It felt like it was working because after using it my skin felt really clean and soft. Unfortunately after a week or two my face started to break out more than usual, and this was the only thing I had changed in my routine. I love lush products but I guess this one is not for my skin type - I have very average combination skin - a bit dry, a bit oily. I don't have sensitive skin.

oh lush, the best prodcuts a girl could ask for. especially vegan or plant based people ( me! ) dark angels is a black and grainy scrub to exfoiltate your face and help acne. did not do anything for acne but made my skin super soft and helps to eliminate black heads and pores. would reccemend, but not for acne.

Dark Angels way back in the day when they first opened up in Calgary. I remembered loving it, so when I was walking through the mall on one of my shopping sprees I decided to stop into LUSH and buy it again.

My skin isn't sensitive, its not oily, its just average, sometimes a little dry if anything. Hence why I don't wash my face all that often.This probably isn't the most recommend for my skin, but whatev.

So when bedtime started creeping up, I was excited to try it out. Right off the bat, I forgot how bad it smelt and how much it looked like I dipped my face in ash. BUT, wow! did my face every feel smooooooth and sooooooooooooo clean. Like 3 days of dirt and grime just washed away.

I have very oily skin, especially in the summer. I got a sample to try. I've been wanting to try a charcoal soap because I heard it was really good for my skin type. I was pleasantly surprised. It has small particles (charcoal pieces??) that scrub gently as well as clean. My skin felt soooo soft afterwards. I also found that my skin wasn't as oily as it use to be :)The only downside I found was the charcoal would crumble a bi and get on the counter or sink. I got the charcoal bar cleanser sample as well. So I want to try that out first before I commit to a full size of either product.
