King of Skin is part of Lush's body butter line. It's essentially a moisturizer that you use while your skin is still wet from a shower or bath.

I love that this is shaped like a little crown. Lush never fails to impress with the aesthetic of its products, always using bright colours or clever shapes to reference the name of the item. This only comes in one size (90g) whereas Buffy the Backside Slayer comes in two. I wish this had a larger size as well, as this one feels quite small and it shrinks rapidly in comparison to the other body butters. It must be something to do with the ingredients, but this just gets smaller before your eyes, and loses its shape quickly.

The smell of this is fantastic. To me, it smells of a warm bowl of oatmeal with just a hint of sweetness. It's a very mild scent, and likewise the texture is also very mild. It's smooth and soft all the way through, no roughness or exfoliation. It glides on like butter and will leave your skin feeling like silk. It's just such a shame that the product melts so quickly.

I absolutely love this product, it leaves my skin feeling so super soft, and it smells pretty good too!

The King of Skin bar is as effective as the Buffy Bar - the cocoa butter, banana and avocado resulting in lovely soft, smooth skin - but it doesn't exfoliate, so it's perfect to use after you shave. The bar feels cool and soothing after a shave and there's no need to shower afterwards. Be sure to buy one of the Lush canisters though, the bar does melt fast, so work quickly!

I love efficiency!!....I love when a product is easy to use, and works extremely well...don't we all!

Recently I was in a Lush store in a Kingston area mall, and purchased the "King of Skin" body butter. I love this product, for a few reasons!!
Firstly, it smells heavenly .....full of moisturizing Shea butter, cocoa, and banana, the scent is soft and comforting, not strong and fake. I feel warm and soft when I put it on.....it feels like I am doing something good for my skin, naturally.

Secondly....you use it immediately after your shower or bath, before you have dried off....smooth it on wet skin, and voila!! Moisturizing is taken care of.... towel off softly..... and your done. I keep it in the shower, in the tin I purchased along with it.

Thirdly, the product works....it gives me the softest skin ever, and it lasts. I love this product...it makes so much sense!! And, best yet, it's natural and made in Canada.
I would recommend this product for anyone with skin that is on the dryer side...it is quite rich, and is working wonders for me in this cold, dry winter. Make sure to keep it covered in a Lush body butter tin, and don't use it under running water, or it will all melt away.
