MAC Pro Longwear Lipcolor

I adore MaxFactor products... and this lipstick reminds me why. Very nice texture, colour, resistant and not that drying. Too bad I can`t find MaxFactor in my city anymore and I only get my hands on it very rarely.

This is the first lip colour that I have used that stays on, even if I have eaten an entire meal. This lip colour's staying power is amazing.

This lip stick is applied in 2 stages. One end has the lip colour that acts more like a lip stain. The other end has a clear gloss that is applied over the lip colour (tip -> it works best when you allow the lip stain to dry before applying the gloss). Then you just re-apply the gloss as needed. The best part is the MAC will sell you the gloss portion separately when you run out of it before your lip colour (which you definately will).

With this lipcolour, no lip colour comes off on your drinking glasses and it looks great. I have never had so many compliments about a lipstick before! Definately a must-have for my beauty bag from now on.

My friend recommended this lipstick/lip gloss to me because she was impressed with how the color lasted the entire day and didn't wear off. MAC Pro Longwear Lipcolor consists of two viles - one end contains a colored lipgloss and the other end contains a clear gloss (or shimmery gloss depending on which color you buy).

I am so impressed with this product! The color lasts all day and does not come off when you eat or drink (no more embarrassing situations where your lipstick stays on the water glass). =) They are pricy however.

I find it worth the price because I don't have to worry about reapplying my lip color throughout the day. I am still going through my one tube of Pro Longwear Lipcolor where I would be well into my second tube of lipstick/gloss by now. And also, if I want to add shine, I can just gloss my lips with the clear gloss.

The only negative is that the formula tends to dry out my lips so i have to keep moisturizing them. But for me it's a small price to pay for lip color that lasts the whole day and doesn't come off . This product is excellent!
