Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer Reviews

Description

More than just a concealer! It contains tensine, an active ingredient with skin-firming properties for the eye area, and vitamins A and E, which regenerate the skin. This multipurpose product also conceals specific, darker areas (brown spots, blotches, etc.) and can be used as a highlighter on the more prominent parts of the face (cheekbones, forehead, and chin) for added radiance.

Dany's Tip: "If you have wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, apply directly into the crease, then blend with light movements into your foundation."

Sephora is the exclusive beauty retailer for this product.

This is the second time I purchase the Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer.
I have extremely sensitive eyes and very dark circles under my eyes. This product ia amazing! it doesnt irritate and dry my under eyes and lids at all, covers well my dark circles and illumintates at the same time.
The key is to aplply a small amount of the product, wait a couple of seconds and then pat and blend. I also aply mineral loose powder (Dior) to set it and im good to go all day. Althought it doesnt cover 100%my under eye circles, i can say it cover 90% and brightens a lot so it is perfect if you dont wear a lot of makeup or want a natural but refreshed look.
Since you dont need to use a lot, it will last you at least for 6-12 months.

This is the only concealer that I have ever re-purchased after trying. I get a fair amount of blemishes that I find pretty hard to cover and have very light dark circles under my eyes (oxymoron!). I feel like I am wearing a bit more make-up than I would prefer to be wearing, but I also feel like my blemishes are well covered. I've had many comments about my clear skin...I kind of giggle to myself and try to take the compliment...knowing that it's not true.

I use it over-top of my mineral powder foundation to cover up spots and apply a very light layer under my eyes to brighten them up. It doesn't cake and doesn't run. It seems to last quite well throughout the day as long as it's set with powder.

This concealer is pretty thick, so you do have to use it sparingly. I find that the best way to get a nice, evenly blended coverage with this product is to apply it, let it sit for about a minute, blend it in, let it sit again and then apply a powder over top to set it.

I would definitely recommend this product for anyone that needs a medium coverage concealer and prefers to use a liquid formula.

I reviewed the Full Concealer as well, which offers more coverage.

This Lift Concealer is GREAT for spot concealing on your face, but NOT under your eyes.

For a full cover for under your eyes, try TimeBalm's The Balm.

This Lift Concealer is more liquid-y, translucent and not as heavy so it won't settle into lines. I use it over a primer for big events and I've never had it slide.

When I wear it for work, I use it to prime my eyelids, and cover odd splotches or discolouration on my face. I do find that it cakes on pimples, but then again, what concealer doesn't? You need to dab your finger in it and dab on the spot without smearing it to avoid creating a dry patch.

I also like using it with just my fingers when I'm in a rush sort of like finger paint, but it works best with a brush
