My favorite!

I started using the colour hot hot pink 4 months ago and it is my ultimate favorite Manic Panic colour I have ever bought! It lasts about 2 weeks on my bleached bangs and keeps its vibrancy. I have also mixed the colour with psychadelic sunset for a brighter pink and I have used it as a toner against green dye. I might make it my signature colour.

I’ve been colouring my hair for just over a year so, I’m always on the lookout for hair dye. I bought the Manic Panic without really thinking about it because the price was amazing. I suggest pre-lightening your hair for extra vibrance.
It went on wonderfully! I didn’t use heat when processing because I wanted to see what the true colour would be like. I LOVED it! My hair didn’t feel weird after, it washed off easily and it’s got wonderful pigment. To top it all of, it’s vegan!

Manic Panic is absolutely my favourite colourful hair dye. They are vegan, which is amazing, and overall I think that it is so effective and is amazing quality. It’s been two months and i’ve only had to touch my hair up twice.

Works very well, maybe too well

I have dyed my hair with the Hot Pink Manic Panic a few times now. When I was more punk pop it was perfect for me because it was quite bright. The colour lasted a couple weeks and then I was able to switch it up. I typically have my hair bleached before doing it. I don't mind the smell of the dye it's pretty inoffensive compared to some other dyes. I would say that this colour is just too bright for me at this point. I tried to mix it with white conditioner to tone it down but it still came out pretty HOT pink. It's not so much a critique just a preference. It is great if you want something that will pop! If not, the Cotton Candy shade is the way to go.

Manic Panic fût la première couleur semi-permanente que j'ai essayé. Il ne m'en fallait pas plus pour que je tombe en amour avec la marque. Les couleurs sont éclatante et on peut facilement changer de tête selon nos envies.

My favourite colour

In general I love manic panic because I don't like sticking to one colour too long, but this colour is my favourite on me.
When it comes to semi-permanents, I find manic panic is one of the best ones. I don't generally use bleaches (I have very light blonde hair), so I have to re-dye every few washes if I want to keep the vibrant colour.
This dye works well without bleaching first though, which I love.

this is one of my favourite colours from manic panic, when i mixed two colours together to colour my hair most of this summer i mixed this with purple haze on my hair, my hair isn't bleached, it is a bit of a lighter brown, even not bleached the colour held up really well on my hair and the colour still turned out absolutely amazing on my hair and it's definitely a colour i would use again

I absolutely love this hair dye. I have been using it for the last year or so. I don't even have to lighten my hair before using it. I have hair past my shoulders and 1 jar lasts me 2-3 months. I like to leave it on for an extra 3 hours for best results and brighter long lasting color.

I have recently been stuck in hair limbo we shall call this, where my blonde was growing out, parts were super brassy, others platinum, just all over a mess and uneven.
I am not a hairdresser, and I live a very busy life, where as my only free time seems to be around the 9-10pm mark and aint no one open to do my hair at that time! LOL
so I have taken to finding little fixes and tweeks in my hair limbo days

Truth is I thought to myself:
"Well it can't get any worse than it is meow"

So I started throwing colour (Pigments) into it

I avoided like the plague lifting my hair as parts of it are and were SEVERLY damaged

I started with Ion colour bights and worked my way into trying Manic Panic.

I went with the hot pink and it turned my hair MAGENTA!! and I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!
everywhere I go I constantly get compliments and people thinking I paid someone to do this to my hair!!

PROS:
High vibrancy
Easy to apply
Vegan
no lifting required (on pre-lightened hair) however my darker roots took on a magenta tinge

CONS
-Bleeds out like a MO FO!
-Fades quickly with each wash... like you can watch the colour run down the drain each time
-do not go to bed with wet hair or let wet hair rest on anything you love and like.

I will and do keep re purchasing this cause I love the colour pay off at first and what else am I gonna do seek a professional...pffft HAHA

This shade lasted about two weeks as a bright pink and then faded into a nice cotton candy shade. I'd recommend it to anyone. I love these products!
