It is okay

This product does work but it gives a really terrible instruction on how to properly use to get you the best result. It does hold my curls and it is has a great smell to it. It is expensive for what it is though.

good product

I have pretty frizzy hair and have been trying to find a product to tame it. This product is amazing, after my hair is wet I get a small amount and scrunch it to my hair. My curls are more evident and frizz free, recommended.

Works well, but leaves residue

I LOVED how this made my curly hair look! I was getting compliments about how nice my curls are and they weren't frizzy- I was so happy. The scent wasn't overwhelming and when you put it on your hair it didn't leave my hands sticky. Also, it didn't stick my hair together like most gels do, it let the curls separate and fall naturally.

The unfortunate part of this product is that it left little white fluff pieces on my clothes and in my hair. They are like little white fibers that are sitting on my scalp, on my hair and then fall off onto my shoulder, or fly around my head when I touch my hair. I'm so disappointed with this as I love the product, but dislike the fallout.

Effective but overwhelming scent

I love this product for how effective it is but the scent is overwhelming and tends to have a hint of chemical smell to it. It is so effective for my crazy hair though. It withstands the wildest of humidity

I wasn't sure about this product I have “normal” thickness hair and it's pretty wavy with a bit of a curl. So I have issues finding products for it as it's not very curly and I don't need/want texture, I want to amp up my wave curl. So I tend to use whatever curl cream I can find and then add some sea salt spray. The fact that this is a lotion caught my attention. Many cream are to thick or heavy for my waves/curl and just weight everything down and downplays them, the opposite of what I want. This product reminds me of a nice light gel, like a gel face cream. It would take a lot to over do it in your hair. It would help my waves become more like curly and also added some shine (BONUS!!). It was sticky, it doesn't have a huge scent to it, nothing I could smell in my hair. Pretty impressed for something I can get at the drugstore.



My hair is between curly and wavy and is quite frizzy. This non-sticky, light-weight product helps smooth out most of my frizz without weighing down my hair, so my curls/waves still have life at the end of the day! When I want my hair to be at the curlier end of the wave-curl spectrum I just scrunch in a bit of low-end hair gel after using the lotion! I've tried several lotions, creams, and serums and the only comparable ones are the hair cream from the same line and the Samy get curls curl reactivator (though this last one can be a touch sticky). Definitely give it a try! <3 <3 <3

I have hair that falls somewhere in between really wavy and curly. My staple hair care products are Frizz Ease Serum and hair spray (usually TRESemme tres two). However I have been noticing recently that my curls lack definition and I attributed this to the fact that I don’t use a product that is strictly designed to enhance them. Enter Marc Anthony Curl Defining Lotion. I spotted it on clearance at Shoppers for 2.99 so I decided to give it a try. Good thing I did because I LOVE IT!!! It smells amazing and my curls look gorgeous. They have definition, bounce and shine. The bottle says it also helps lock in moisture and repel humidity however I have yet to test this out because it hasn’t been particularly humid yet this season (thank God!) I will most certainly be buying another bottle of this product when this one runs out. I am in love!
