I like this mascara. At first I thought it was too gimmicky but after using it for about a month now I'm sold. The wand starts off in its full extended position, allowing you to cake on product for a nice voluminous look. Then, twist the cap and the brush rotates into a diagonal twisted position which provides both lift and combs out any clumps to lengthen and boost.
This is an interesting mascara. I really like the concept of the "push up bra for your lashes", and it works quite well. The wand is straight and coats your lashes nicely, and the tube bottom twists and the brush squishes together, making all the bristles closer together. I do this for the second coat and it adds crazy volume! The only thing is when the wand is in its normal position it is fairly large, and I found it difficult to apply without getting it all over my face haha. But it lasts a long time and doesn't clump together, so if you're looking for a good mascara for volume i'd recommend trying this one out.
The wand has silicone bristles that are placed close enough together, yet far enough apart to give a perfect fan-like coating of my lashes. I typically do one coat like this and then twist the brush so that it forms the "push up" wand. And re-coat my lashes for round 2. I don't see as much volume as I do with Marcelle's Power Volume mascara, but it does actually coat and form the lashes differently than it does with the untwisted wand. I would but this again because it coats my lashes much more evenly than most mascaras.
I do like this mascara... It's cool that you can use it straight for length and twist the cap (which twists the brush) to add extra volume. It's not the most volumizing mascara I've ever used, but it still is good. It also doesn't clump and doesn't flake which is great! I would buy this one again.
