Another book someone had recommended to me in high school that I didn't end up reading until I was 21 or 22. I am glad I waited, because even though I loved books my whole life, I was able to sit down and really enjoy this book "outside of the classroom". This book really is "adventure romance" set in a spectacular fictional plot - though Atwood wouldn't go so far as to say this is "science fiction", I would say the plot does have those undertones.

A great read. Another one I would love to pick up again.
