reviews I'm really shocked at all the bad reviews for this. I absolutely love this foundation and I know so many people who swear by it as well. It covers up so well and feels really light on my face. I can use it as everyday foundation or as stage foundation. It is the only foundation that was able to cover up all my blemishes and make my skin look flawless, and it felt like I was wearing nothing at all. It is very matte, sometimes a little too matte, but just a shimmery bronzer or something works well on top. I have oily/combination skin so I like how matte-ifying it is. I never need to put powder on top of this. I can easily wear it every day too, and I find it lasts a long time. You don't need that much to have good coverage. reviews All I can say is that it is very annoying to put this product on every morning because your fingers get all dirty from the "mousse" and using a sponge is not plausible in this case. The coverage is okay and it lasts the whole day, however the range of colours is horrible! I could not find one to match my tan/asian skin tone, so I had to settle for something slightly lighter. I just bought the revlon new complexion compact makeup, so I only use the mousse on occasion. I would not suggest someone to buy it. It makes me look like my skin is naturally like that and makes it soft and covers all my pimples and imperfections. I read that Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation was a total dupe for Lancome's Magique Matte Soft-Matte Perfecting Mousse Makeup (Paula Begoun's Dont' Go to the Makeup Counter Without Me). I purchased it in Toffee, which is Dark 0. I applied it over Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel and it blended really well. I loved the whipped, airy texture. I remember that it felt silky smooth and I was able to achieve medium coverage even though I prefer full coverage. I made the mistake of not exfoliating and not applying enough moisturizer before I applied this foundation so some dry spots that I had were blatantly noticeable. Thank God I didn't wear this outside! This foundation comes in 16 shades so finding a match should be easy, if not easier. reviews i was so dissapointed with this foundation!!! after hearing all the hype about all these new mousse makeups i had to try one. Not only did it looks cakey but it looked a little too orangy too, though maybe that was from my poor choice in shades. It dosn't stay on for all that long either....all and all its not worth your money. reviews This foundation looked cakey on my face. I saw a picture of myself that someone took one night I wore this foundation , that's how you know how you really look! reviews When I first bought this a year ago, I was amazed at how well it covered up my somewhat-blotchy skin. And sometimes, I still do love it for that. However, I've found that it's absolutely horrible for hiding bad acne, and at school I have to reapply at the end of every class, because it fades that fast! It feels nice and all, and looks amazing right after applying, but it hardly lasts and overall leaves you frustrated. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I tried this product in the past and it was awful! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It doesn't go on smooth and can tend to look very patchy when it comes to full coverage. It is definitely not worth the money. There are many other "cheap" foundations that work 100x better! [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. this product is just "eh". i happen to love covergirl's trublend foundation. if im gonna use cheap foundation that is the way to go. as another review mentioned, this product can get cakey. it does however have a very silky feel.
