Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

I found it too light for my skin, and hard to smooth out.

I accepted this to work wonders on my skin, but it didn't! I have a medium -dark completion so this was not the right consistence for my skin type, it just didn't blend correctly.

It's not often that I wear foundation, mainly because I have a hard time finding a product I like. That was until I came across this product from Maybelline. I love the way it goes on my skin and that it looks natural. I have recommended this to my friends and family.

I just purchased the dream matte mousse foundation after finishing a pot of cover girl. I actually purchased it out of mistake, but what a great mistake it was!
I LOVE this foundation, it goes on silky and stays all day! The colour matched my skin perfectly (ivory). It is a little pricy but SO very worth it.

I'm only 26 and have a few lines here and there and some circles under my eyes, and it covers everything without effort!

Best Product in my Make-up bag!

The product is great for combination skin (like mine). It leaves the skin flawless. The positives of this product are:
- Stays on long
- Defies shine effect
- Doesn't look Cakey
- Makes skin feel Hydrated and Soft
- Comes in a variety of shades
- Easy to apply (I do it with my fingers)
- Scent free

Overall, this is the best foundation I have found on the market. I've never used any that made my skin feel as flawless and look as perfect as this one!

Two BIG Thumbs UP!

I really liked how light it felt on my face. It definitally felt different than typical liquid foundations, in a good way. However, it is more money than I would like to pay.

Price: Could get better for the price. The way my friends told me about it made me want to try it out,but yeah it wasn't worth it. The container is still 3/4 full somewhere in my bedroom.

Quality: Well,it does cover up quite well,but it makes your face feel like you have thick make up on.
The main way to apply it is by using your fingers,which at the end leaves a smudgy effect,like layering cake,if you do not take your time to blend it.It doesn't look natural,too much like a dolly.

Effectiveness: It doesn't cover up pores really effectively

I was skeptical at first because the container appears to be so small, but you really dont need to wear a lot of it. Its amazing how you can dab a few fingers into the foundation and it covers your entire face. This worked great after many all nighters, my under eye dark circles were no longer noticable. The colour matched my skin perfectly and my face felt so smooth and like silk. I would definitely reccomend!

What can't this do?! I love it to no end!
What it does a fabulous job for me: This foundation hides under eye circle, gives me amazing coverage and actually covers a sunburn without pain. I love this foundation especially because it doesn't give me break outs and yet blends in with my skin so naturally you won't be able to tell I'm wearing foundation. If you use the Matte pressed powder you can achieve an amazing natural air brushed look.
What I don't like: Pretty much nothing. The only thing about this is that it applies better in some ways than others. I find you should use really good sponges (I'm quite picky on quality of sponge) while they're wet/damp.
I would deffinitely recommend this to anyone and everyone!!

I remember this foundation.. I think I bought it around two years ago, but I can remember it quite well, and I've seen other people wearing it since. I shouldn't think it would be that easy to apply with a brush, my favourite way of applying foundation - it's more or less designed to be applied using the fingers. And I have noticed, on myself and other people, that this leaves a really cakey finish. It really cakes over imperfections like acne, and especially around the nose area. The colour wasn't that great for me: I bought the lightest possible, and it was still quite orange. I'm not sure if they've changed the colours since I bought it, but that was how it looked on me - I didn't like it at all. I remember that it made my face look very oily - but that may have just been my skin type. Other people I have seen wearing it since have had a matte complexion, but it still looks very dry and cakey. My family also said that it looked pretty bad on my skin. Definitely won't be buying this again, though there is a certain allure about it.
