Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Black

I ended up with all the shades available in this product range, but black was the shade that I got the most use out of. These eyeshadows are quite comparable to more expensive brands in such that they are smooth, deeply pigmented, and long lasting. My main problem was the rate at which the actual product lasts. I had to get rid of mine after only a month or two as it dried up very quickly and became unusable. The brush that it comes with is also not the type that I'd prefer for the purpose (applying eyeliner) but it is perfect for cleaning up nail polish after you've applied it (cuticle clean ups.) I'm hoping that I just got an "off" batch, because the product definitely had potential.

This is the only liner I use! Before this I used pencils but they smudged very easily and would always leave a line on my upper eyelids when I opened my eyes. This gel liner is great, it is so much easier to apply in a smooth straight line and is great for the cat eye look. It dries pretty quickly so there is no issue with leaving a line on my upper lids. The only bad thing I would say is that you need to clean the brush almost after every use or the gel builds up and gets hard, which affects the brush but other than that, it's awesome!

It takes some time to perfect your line, but once you do this liner is awesome. It's dark dark black and the applicator is so easy to use!

I've used pencil eyeliners and by the end of the day, the eyeliner starts to disappear because I guess I have oily eyelids? I've also tried liquid eyeliner and the same thing happens to me..however when I first used maybelline eye studio lasting drama gel eyeliner, I was surprised. It goes on so smoothly and it works so well. Also it was the first ever eyeliner that didn't disappear by the end of the day. All in all, it was definitely worth buying!

I own this and MAC's fluidline but I will say this is a very good comparable drugstore. It's richly pigmented (at least the black is) and goes on smooth, doesn't smudge too much and the brush is actually great! I still use the brush that came with this for my MAC fluidline. Def. recommend this for those who don't want to spend the extra bucks on fluidline (I've seen it on sale for $8 even)

This eyeliner is perfect for those of us not blessed with a steady hand. The brush follows a straight line almost naturally. I was able to complete VARIOUS looks with this same eyeliner and every time I hear someone wanting to try something new this is what I suggest. It is much less messy than the regular liquid eyeliners, and you can blink after applying without the smudge factor!

From a straight line of eyeliner, or creating a leopard print make up pattern using this eyeliner, it has never let me down!

I really liked this liner a lot. I normally find liners fade or crease in my eye lid, and thats even when I use a good primer.

This sticks all day, washes off easily and you have a lot of control with the brush. The regular price is not crazy, but I waited for a sale.

I tried out the eggplant color. I apply one layer, do my other eye, then go back to the first for a more vibrant color.
Definitely recommend!

I read many reviews and bought right away! the eyeliner is better than my others eyeliners that i tried. It's long lasting et doesn't smudge if you use the eye primer. Even the pot look small, i don't use a lot. It is easily to blend. I am very happy about the product!
