Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

This mascara is Great.... blackest of black and as cheap as they come. But the thing about it for me is somehow...... Im Allergic to it. =( . Ive worn soo many different kinds of mascara and Im fine but this one saddens me because it works great and very affordable and sometimes even comes in a 2 for 1 deal. Ive tried it & Loved it.... but then my lash line where the mascara meets my lid gets terribly itchy and I would get bumps when I rub them and its gets worse so Id have to wash it off. So for you people who could use this mascara w/o any problems..LUCKY YOU! because it is known to be just as good or even better than the department store brands of mascaras.

I really like this compare to the high end ones that i've tried. it don't smudge at all.

This is a pretty good product. It is cheap, easy to apply and works every single time. It volumizes and lenghtens lashes for a fabulous look. I highly recommend it!

At 16 I was allowed to wear makeup on a regular basis and the first thing I bought was this mascara, becuase my cousin told me it was the best kind to get. 9 years later, I still use it on a daily basis. It's affordable, effective and it doesn't clump! Worth every (cheap) penny! :)

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It came in a $10 Garnier pack that I bought from Walmart. I was slightly reluctant to use it because I never really used mascara & I had previously used Maybellines XXL mascara. Anyway I really fell in love with this mascara! It made my lashes longer & thicker in one coat! I use 2 coats when I want a really dramatic look. This mascara came in Blackest Black but a month later I opted for the Great Lash Waterproof formula since I live in FL where its always humid. They didnt have the blackest black so I got the Soft Black,which I love even more!!!!! It makes my lashes look awesome & like theyre naturally thick & long,which I esp love when I have eyeshadow & such on or on my more natural looking days. It doesnt clump or migrate & it comes off easy when using make up remover!

This was the first mascara i EVER used..and i hated the stuff! My lashes or pretty long but are blonder towards the tips so i just need something to add color, but nothing dramatic. This stuff clumps and makes it difficult to apply. All the mascara goes to the tip when you pull it out making it almost impossible to get the lashes in the lashes nearest your nose!

I like this mascara because it's quick and easy to apply unlike other mascaras that require repeated application before my lashes are dark and defined. For me I prefer makeup to go a little beyond a subtle statement but I don't want to look like I'm about to have a night out while I'm working.

I've heard people rant about how they hate it or rave about it. I don't get it. This sucks. It gives length, but clumps your lashes together. It doesnt hold a curl. It doesn't seem to do very much. Save your money and get something else.

This seems to be a hit-or-miss mascara; people either love it or hate it. What I like about Great Lash is that you only need one or two swipes to get really dark, separated, clump-free lashes. However, it doesn't look good for long--it smudges off in a couple of hours. And when it gets under my eyes, it's really hard to remove--I usually have to rub to get it off my skin. It makes my lashes feel really heavy, and when I accidentally touch them a couple hours later, it feels like they haven't even dried yet! So basically, this mascara is just a lot of heavy, wet build-up on your lashes. But with the great drugstore price, I'd say it's worth a try to see if it will work for you.
