reviews I got this blush in the Peach tone and was very worried that it would be too pinky for my skin tone. But I'd heard peach tones were in for the season so I thought this was a good opportunity to try it out. I have been pleasantly surprised. It does tend to go on heavy, as some of the ladies mentioned, but if you are careful, use a good brush and tap off the extra it can look very nice and natural. I use a little bit on the apples of my checks and really like the healthy glow. I would recommend this blush to anyone looking for an effective blush at a reasonable price. Mostly because I think I was trying to use the little brush that came with it and it went on way too heavy, I actually had to take my makeup off and redo it without the blush. I gave it another shot though with a real blush brush and a lot of tapping and it seemed to go on pretty nicely. It was a nice colour (different from my normal colour) and blended in pretty well. The only thing I really didnt like was that it is a loose powder so it made it difficult to get the quantity of blush you wanted without wasting/tapping, etc. I am not sure that I would buy it again or that I am hooked on it, but it will remain in my makeup bag and likely get used :) [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I'm not sure if it was the particular color that I chose for this blush...but I really did not like it. I found the pigment extremely strong and it made my face look really fake. I tried toning it down with loose powder, but then I felt like I was noticeably wearing too much make-up. Since it is loose powder rather than pressed, I found I was always getting too much on my brush. Overall - not my favorite blush! reviews I have this blush in True Peach and I have to say that this is my fav product in Maybelline's mineral line. The colour gave me a nice peachy glow that looked very natural. I was also able to build the colour without having it look fake. The only disappointing aspect was that I found that the colour didn't last all day. By the time i got home after a really long day you could no longer see any colour on my cheeks. Other than that I would definitely recommend the mineral blush in true peach because the colour is gorgeous, looks natural and can be buildable. The blush is in loose powder form. The shade Gentle Pink works perfectly for me. My skin tone overall is creamy light with a yellow undertone. It changes a bit with the seasons. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I chose the True Peach shade and I was really happy it was a true peach shade and not peachy-pink. I prefer a pressed powder blush but I loved how natural the blush looked. It's definitely buildable so you can keep applying until the desired colour. The little brush kind of irritates my skin so I prefer to use a real blush brush. You definitely need to tap it off in the container before applying because the brush can grab a lot of product. If you buff it into the skin it looks like the colour is coming from underneath the skin. I love how healthy and radiant the colour makes me. I'd definitely recommend it for those who love mineral blushes or love loose powders. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. I am a huge fan of blush. I find that one sweep of colour wakes my entire face up! reviews I normally do not wear blush, I normally dust bronzer on my cheekbones if I am going to use anything at all as my skin is darker in color. I have to say that Maybelline Mineral Power Blush looked VERY good on my skin and provided a rosey hue that did not look false at all. I am very pleased with this product and I will likely start to use this product regularly when blush or that natural flush cheeks look is required! Try this product out...you will love it! [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. Let me start this by saying I do not use blush, this is the only blush I own. I have very pink cheeks. When I'm pale I still have bright pink cheeks. That said, I did try the blush for the purposes of this review. Surprisingly, unlike other blushes, it blended with my rosy cheeks (possible that I chose a complimentary shade..) it just highlighted/evened out my already rosy face. I was impressed. It isn't something I am going to use everyday but, I will definitely keep it around and use it when I need that little something extra. I also like that you can use as little or as much as you want because it's loose powder...beware though - a little goes a long way! I also found that it seems to sink in and looks very natural after a few minutes. [ back to top ] This review is the subjective opinion of a ChickAdvisor member and not of ChickAdvisor Inc. | ||
