As a MAC addict, I was kind of nervous about trying different foundations since I'm always worried they might not match my skin colour. After reading about it, I decided on getting this affordable foundation (well, cheaper than MAC for sure). I am pleasantly surprised as how well it blends with my skin tone. Its medium sheer, so its great for the day time or right after workout. I am definitely a huge fan for this line because of its quality and its great price! I would recommend getting it at Walmart than a drugstore as its usually cheaper

The first thing I need to say is, if you're looking for a Natural foundation, THIS IS NOT A NATURAL PRODUCT!!! It may have "minerals" in it, but it's still full of chemicals. However, if you use regular drug store products and are ok with that, then this is in the same category.

That being said, I don't usually use liquid foundations. I find they look fake and tend to highlight my fine lines and wrinkles. I was a bit surprised by this product: it went on smoothly, blended nicely, and wasn't overly "make-upy." It definitely has a fuller coverage than I'm used to, but I kind of liked the "porcelain" complexion.

I found that covering it with the Healthy Finish Veil was too much. It felt a lot more natural with a light dusting of a translucent loose powder.

A better product than most of the drugstore foundations I've tried.

** Editor's note **
The Mineral Power products do not claim to be organic, however they are all are preservative-free, talc-free, oil-free and fragrance-free. Mineral Power products are made with natural micro-minerals, and contain vitamin E and Pro-vitamin B5, which protect skin against damage from free-radicals, among other things.

By far... my favourite product from Maybelline's line.

I'm an avid user of liquid foundation, so trying Maybelline's version in Light Beige was exciting. Steering away from Clinique was hard, but I was soooo surprised to see that a small drop of this product can be spread so far on the face and so easily too!!! It does seem runny when squeezed out, but the coverage for me was just like Clinique; matte (without any heaviness), lightweight... I'm still wearing it right now after 12 hours and no touch up, my pores appear smaller (always a plus), and hid my imperfections well... no redness or freckles.

The price is well worth it. I lucked out picking a colour that matched well... try before you buy! I will continue to buy this and recommend to my chicks!!!
P.S. The Finish Veil is the perfect topper for this... makes my skin flawless. Thanks!

I don’t wear a lot of make-up and never cover my face completely with foundation. Rather, I use it in key areas and blend it in well. I used the “nude” shade and found it a bit dark so it will suit my skin much better once I get out in the sunshine! It wasn’t heavy or thick feeling at all, and had great staying power throughout the day. I did however find the application difficult because of the squeeze-top lid. I often squeezed too hard and ended up with an excess of foundation to wash off (I apply foundation with my fingers and not a sponge). If I were to use a sponge I think the application would be easier, but still hard to control the amount that is squeezed out. I reccommend this to anyone looking for a new foundation that won't result in oily or clogged pores - always a bonus!

I was a little skeptical of switching my foundation at first. I tend to be really picky because I like something that covers really minimally and I tend to sometimes get dry/irritated skin if I dont go with the more pricey foundations (and even then I have to be careful). I have dry to normal skin (dry mostly in the winter no matter HOW much i moisturize), so I figured I would go with the foundation over the loose powder. I ended up picking my colour off the internet (light), and i was actually shocked at the fact that when it arrived it blended perfectly with my skin. This product goes on seamlessly, and when combined with the concealer my skin looked and felt really natural and had a very even tone. It goes on like I havent really experienced before, kinda silky almost, and I have found that you really dont need to use a lot (a major plus) to cover your whole face! I actually ended up liking this foundation better than my much more pricey foundation from Sephora. My face didnt look cakey like I have found other "Shoppers" brands have made my skin look in the past and it doesnt feel gross at the end of the day but stays on pretty well. I would for SURE buy this again and for SURE recommend it to others; along with the concealer, it will be something I will for sure continue to buy.

I really like Maybelline Mineral Power foundation. My shade was Creamy Natural. The foundation blends perfectly well with my skin tone. I was quite surprised how natural the foundation blends, yet it still covers my imperfections. I have combination skin with both dry and oily areas. The liquid foundation works best for my skin type. It moisturizes my dry areas and gives a matte finish for my oily areas. In addition, the liquid foundation is really quite light and I find myself forgetting that I'm even wearing make-up. It provides great smooth coverage. Another plus is that it's quite affordable. I paid more then double for my previous foundation. And I find myself preferring the Maybelline Liquid foundation over the much expensive brand. One thing, I do recommend setting this foundation with the loose powder foundation or the Finish veil to prevent any shine at the end of the day.

I really liked this foundation. It goes on very smooth and creamy. At first I thought the shade was a bit too dark for my skin tone (it still may be), but it did blend in quite well. I recommend setting this foundation with a loose powder as near the end of my day my skin felt a bit oily. This was odd as I usually have dry skin. I also like the container it comes in. It has a small nozzel type opening which easily lets you take only what you need. I find with other foundations that have a large opening you often get more than you want.

This was my favourite of the bunch! I was VERY surprised at how amazing the quality was. I prefer this one over the loose powder because the coverage is a bit heavier. Like others have said a little goes a long way. It has a creamy consistency and blends beautifully onto the skin. I've tried many foundations and this one is right up there with my favourite Face Atelier! Pretty much the same consistency and your skin looks amazing! I also like that it doesn't feel like you're wearing a lot of makeup. I chose Honey Beige and it matched my skin perfectly. Works really well under the loose foundation powder. It's also long-lasting and lasted through a sweaty workout! It would be perfect if it had an SPF but since my skin is sensitive to some SPF products I prefer to use separate sun protection that I know works with my skin. The plastic squeeze tube also makes it easier for transporting. For makeup artists building their kit I'd definitely stock up on these foundations. It's inexpensive, very transportable, and the range of colours is fairly decent. When I run out of this one and my higher end ones I may have to pick up another one of these!

I have combination skin where the top layer of my skin is very dry but I am still a bit oily underneath. When I look for a foundation, I want something that will give me good coverage but still moisturize without making my skin feel too oily. Anyway, I found that this product works very well and as the other reviewers mentioned, a little bit of this product goes a long way. The texture was smooth and the product was easily blendable with other products. I am not sure that I will convert from my Mac Hyper Real foundation because I like the finish that it provides but Maybelline Mineral Power Liquid Foundation works very well too. This foundation price point is very affordable and the product works well. I would definitely tell my friends to give it a try.

I have combination skin (half dry, half oily) So, I've always had issues finding a decent foundation for my skin. I am going to review this product and the other - this one is recommended for normal to dry skin. I used it on my dry zones and it was fantastic. A little bit goes a long way! It also moisturizes which is fantastic, other than tinted moisturizers I generally find foundations quite dry. I didn't breakout afterward and the overall look of it is natural - not caked or heavy. I would highly recommend it. A similar cover girl product I use is put to shame by this product - I've definitely been converted!
