Maybelline New York Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara

I didn`t hate this mascara, but I wouldn`t repurchase, simply because there are much better ones out there. It`s easy to apply, gives that natural clean look, it won`t add volume or give you crazy lashes, but it`s a decent product, I would say ... average. But then again, there are so many average mascaras out there...
I would recommend it, as it`s an ok product... for some this mascara it`s just enough.

I was very excited to try this mascara. It was given in the goodie bag for Chick Advisor's shop crawl. The applicator was not good for my type of eyelashes. It was a small "comb" applicator. It works well to avoid clumping but it did not give me the volume or lengthening that I am used to. The applicator did not work as well with my lashes (which are short and sparse) as it's sister mascara (Maybelline New York Colossal Volum' Express Mascara).

This is honestly my favourite mascara ! Although advertised as being for volume, i find it also provides very nice length. I like my lashes to be dramatic and when applying various coats, this mascara allows me to do so without causing any clumps and gives me the perfect fake lash effect. The price is fantastic, this mascara could definetly be sold for more and i would still buy it. Keep the great mascaras coming out maybelline !

I purchased this mascara a while ago, what attracted me most was the silicone brush and the defining quality of it. The brush seperates the lashes quite well but makes them seem kind of thin and weak. It doesn't add volume or length. Since then I switched to Colossal mascara.

this product worked great,there really are other products that would give you a lot more volume.

I received this mascara from the goodie bag after the Shop Crawl (great event btw). This mascara does a very good job at defining (hence the name) and separating each lash. I like the regular/narrrow size of the brush as I've been using a lot of mascaras with the thick, wide brushes lately.

The narrowness of the brush makes it easy to cover and define each lash. The formula doesn't clump either. This is a great mascara for defining and does an okay job at lengthening. However, I didn't find that it added much volume.

There are better mascaras for volume and lengthening but this is a decent mascara that doesn't clump and does a good job at defining each lash.

I got this in the goodie bag at the shopcrawl night, and couldn't wait to try it out. I finally tried it last night, and then accidentally fell asleep wearing it (gross, i know, i know!), but I have to say it didn't crumble onto my cheeks or clump or flatten out even after sleeping on them! This morning my lashes look almost as nice as when I first put it on.

Pro's: This mascara really lengthened my lashses! I was very surprised, definately not expecting it.
It really defined each lash sepereately, and made my lashes look so much longer than normal. When I look at my lashes from the side (turn your head a little sideways and see your lashes) they look very long, very curled and no clumps at all.

Con: there's only one - the colour. Its black, but sort of slate'ish ..greyish ...wierd. If it was jet black it would have been AMAZING!!!

I didn't really like this mascara. It worked well at first but then started to go weird. It did lengthen but then stopped working, it started to go clumpy and made my lashes look horrible. i wouldn't recommend this mascara as it costs quite a bit for something that only works for about 2 weeks.

I use this mascara everyday. It separates every lash and makes them look think and long. I have tried many mascaras and this is by far the bet. it doesnt smudge clump free and is waterproof . Five stars.

Maybelline proves that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a great mascara. I use this mascara everyday and when I go out at night. It separates every lash and makes them look think and long. It does what it says it will great buy I believe you can never go wrong with Maybelline.
