really thick and creamy, very durable

This doesn't plump my lips at all - I notice no difference between the softness/plumpness of my lips before and after. I didn't even experienced a little tingling sensation.

This does provide a noticable & lustrous shine, but you have to apply more than one coat for the color to really show up on the lips. Otherwise, it's a really sheer lipgloss.

This product is a bit sticky (not on the lips, but your hair will get stuck in it).

The formula is not long-lasting. This lipgloss last for about one hour on my lips.

This product doesn't have a particular taste or scent.

I like the plastic applicator which is not as messy as spongy ones, & it allows to apply the gloss smoothly.

The casing is very nice & kind of classy.

As said on the website, this product does dry my lips, so it may not be a good product for you if you have sensitive lips.

Overall, this is a nice lipgloss, though it's a bit expensive for a drugstore lipgloss (that is supposed to be a lip plumper). I'm not a fan of Maybelline lipgloss, but I would definately buy it again if it's on sale or if they lower the price.

Plain and simple: this product is supposed to plump your lips and doesn't.



I bought this product with the hope of plumping my lips. I picked a very nice color, and put it on as soon as I got out to my car. It started tingling right away, which was completely unexpected. I checked the packaging and saw that it said that tingling was normal. I figured that it was working to plump up my lips. Well, I waited and waited. And my lips didn't plump. I really liked the color and the gloss, and yes, it did last a while, but the product didn't do what it was intended to do.


I do not recommend this product. It was too expensive for not delivering as advertised. If you want a nice, colored lip gloss you can get it elsewhere.

This lip plumping gloss is not available in stores until February 2008. I got mine with a News Release and am very amused by it. It leaves the lips very tingly (borderline annoying for me), but leaves a very nice glossy finish that I like. It also lasts for a couple of hours, which probably has a lot to do with my fear of licking it because I don't want a tingly tongue, but it looks really nice on. It also has a hint of an orange citrus scent/flavor.

The tingling doesn't last very long, just a couple of minutes and then you get a nice cool finish that is actually soothing. This is because there is menthol in the product. I really like the applicator. You just twist the bottom and up comes the gloss. No fussing with a wand or a brush.

My one beef is that this doesn't plump my lips at all. I notice no difference between the softness/plumpness of my lips before and after. I use this as a gloss and that's it. Also, don't overapply or you get a line of white between your lips or in the corners which is not flattering.

Overall it is a very nice gloss with a decent price tag.
