My daughter spotted these in the grocery store and convinced me to buy them. I was pleased by how soft they were on the inside and so tender on the outside.

I remember eating McCain Smiles often as a kid (we always called them Smiley-Fries). They were always a favourite, as they were so much fun to eat - especially when they came out with different "expressions" due to squishing! I still find myself picking up a bag now and again while shopping as an adult. Any snack or side-dish that can remain on your grocery list for twenty years is golden. True to the crispiness, flavour, and quality of all other McCain frozen products, these are definitely worth the buy or try.

Not the most sophisticated snack, but I've been eating these since I was a kid. When I was little, I would beg for the smiley fries. They are easy to fry, and can be baked as well. I still buy them every once in a while when I see them on sale and eat them with ketchup mixed with sriracha sauce!

Honestly, I had super high hopes for the Smiles fries because I thought by the smile that they were irresistibly delicious but I was a little let down. On the other hand, my boyfriend loves them and eats them whenever he comes over but I probably wouldn't rush out to buy them again! #sadface?

They are the most fun shape, can't help but smile back when you see all that happiness on your plate. Taste def needs improvement. Doesn't at all taste like a real potato but I suppose that's what you get with compressed frozen fries! The shape is worth it to me! Lol

Whats not to love about McCain Smiles. So easy & quick to prepare that they are ready in no time & add a smile to the little one's faces. Find that they retain their crispness throughout a meal. Easily sprinkled with ones favourite seasoning.

These are great for kids and picky eaters. Just too cute! They have a nice crispiess to them and I love dipping them in ketchup. A perfect amount of seasoning to them as well.
